I think that works for a period of time but sooner or later youre going to have to change your ways! you make money on repeat customers and word of mouth, and I know for a fact patrick frank and other hosts on here get a shitload of business from this site cause of word of mouth and noone on here even went to prive cause of the bad publicity......and it appears that prive owners might have even take that aloof approach when dealing with the city as well which ultimately led to them getting shut down, they dont just shut you down one day you have to really piss people off in order for that to happen, I mean hell even rick rizzolo (crazy horse too) stuck around all those years before being shutdown.

Prive gets a lot of complaints because of the attitude of the staff, esp. the door staff. I the eye of the owners, its not about customer service, but image. I can tell you that even if your on the guestlist or have a table, if you dont look hot, they will ignore you til the cows come home. with that being said, prive does have the most expensive light and sound system on the strip (idk if xs beat them, that info was from last summer). It is also a club that caters more to table customers.

Almost every night the clubs in open, there is about 2000 people begging to get inside.

I didn't want to say it, but I wondered that too. I mean, I'm spending money and I don't look like Quasimodo, but don't look like anything like Brad Pitt, J.Timberlake, Taye Diggs, etc.

I think getting into a club can be helped by several factors:

- confidence (my friends say I'm a different person there)
- clothes (clothes definitely make the man)
- manners (I think it helps to be polite, but unwavering)

Hot chicks. TRUTH to that. I find though that most of my girl friends are taken and well...won't buck up for sh*t. So...I prefer to go with my buddies. As one of them puts it, he goes to get away from the girls in town. He actually prefers not to bring girls with him - sort of like that "why bring a sandwich to a buffet" mentality.

Maybe one of these days I will take a girl, but it definitely wouldn't be a full-on bender.

Yeah I agree with the other guys in this post, I just wouldn't put Prive as tier 1 in my opinion. Granted I haven't been personally, but from what I have heard, the club is nothing compared to XS and the like. This could be due to various reasons, but everyone will be biased in some way or fashion. Good ol' fashion numbers do not lie but I'm not an industry worker so I have no idea on the profit margins for each club.

Either way, as long as you have fun at the end of the night, it's tier 1 all the way!

You hit the nail on the head with that statement. We have the absolute best time at Moon. Not only that but they treat us with a great deal of respect. It may be considered "tier 2" but who really gives a shit. All that matters is that we have a great time. When I had a table at XS during MDW I felt like a slab of meat. Not good.
