White shoes?

So I've been trying to think of ways to set myself apart from Team Dude without running afoul of the dress code. To that end, I've been entertaining the idea of wearing a pair of white leather shoes and accessorizing with something like a skinny white tie. Do you guys think this would be acceptable? At the very least, could I pull it off at a more fashion-forward place like Body English?

With white shoes id be more worried about them getting seriously trashed at clubs. Thats just my opinion because i feel like shoes get stepped on all the time and i hate when i have white shoes that get all scuffed up.
