The pool gets really crowded though doesn't it? Is that for the big pool or the adults only one?

I didn't go to the adults only just the regular. It's true, it does get pretty crowded by it was a nice setting. Not really a PARTY setting but nice to relax around and have a few drinks. As I said though, I spent most of my time at the little cabana type thing with blackjack tables right outside the pool.

Just wanted to drop a quick review
For the prices you pay to stay here, and the dead center strip location, I can pretty honestly recommend it. The only downside is there are ton of really busted hookers hanging out in the casino at 3/4 in the morning and they're pretty annoyingly aggressive.

Unless you're able to get a room upgrade I would stay away from this place.

Just wondering why you say this? I stayed there and it definitely wasn't the nicest place on the strip but the location is great, the pool was good, and the price was low.

If it's because it's not up to your standard I understand, I was just wondering if you had a particularly bad experience there to share. My only bad experience is getting kicked off the blackjack tables because I didn't have a shirt on (lost it at the pool that day drinking).

Can someone tell me what that smell is throughout the casino? It's not a nasty smell but it's definitely not a good one either.

Overall, I liked the Flamingo. It suited our needs. Inexpensive, clean, nice pool, and centrally located. I could stay here again but probably won't because of that smell.

alot of the hotels have strange smells....I stayed at TI once and I loved it except for a strange smell, it was almost like some kind of fragrance that someone somewhere tohught smelled good!
