  • PH Towers and Noise violations

I'm planning for a bachelor party of 15-20 dudes. Chances of rowdy are 100%. We're looking at suites and PH Towers seems like the best bet. Probably gonna get 2 connecting 2 bdrm suites if we can.

I know a lot of JC'ers have stayed in PH Towers. Has anybody ever gotten tossed for noise? I'm avoiding some of the swankier hotels because I don't want anybody getting thrown out.

why would the party be in the room? Wouldnt you want to be out at some club, strip club, bar, etc?

Room is to sleep and get ready, once that is done, you gtfo and party in town. hehe.

Pre-game and after party! Some of the dudes are from Wisconson and it makes more sense to pre-game each night (all those beers add up at the bars!), get fired up, and punch each other in the throat a few times before we go out. That requires space and loud music.

But yeah, it's only going to be a couple of hours a night.

I'm from Wisconsin - why does it make more sense to pre-game if they're from Wisconsin?

We have booked 4 MGM Signature Suites in a corner of a tower before and this was perfect for setting up our parties. Had subwoofer systems in two of the rooms and never had a complaint for a 4 night stay. The music was constantly on.

The past 2 trips we stayed at PH Towers we got noise complaints.

The first time was on a Weds around 10, kicking out jams at full volume while pregaming. They just asked us nicely to turn it down.

The second we were in a corner Suite, and were able to get away with the noise a bit longer. Didn't get a complaint until about 5am Sunday (after hitting XS). This time they weren't so nice.. Came in and told us the room capacity was 6 people (in a 2-bedroom suite, lol), and everyone else had to leave. After leveling with them, however, we convinced them to let everyone stay since we were all leaving Sunday.

Apparently there are quite a few Extended Stay clients at PHT.. Kinda ridiculous they would complain on a Saturday night though, I would expect that kind of thing staying in a hotel in the heart of the strip. IMO if you want peace & quiet, you should stay somewhere like The Signature.

really? every time I've been to The Signature it's been dead silence everywhere. Thick walls maybe?

just to play the devils advocate, if I crashed out at 3am and got woken up at two hours later on sunday morning, my still drunk ass would be....displeased. Especially cus I have to be out of the room in like 6 hours and want my damn shut eye before i fly lol

now friday night.. i would've just come over and said hi

to the original question, i've gotten pretty loud at the encore and ti and havn't had any issues. On the flip side, had security called on me and my boys at a luxor suite for *talking* too loud.

Man pre-game shouldnt take more than 30-45 min. LOL. When you guys are getting ready, drinking should already commence. After a couple drinks and shots back to back, you should be outta that room and checkin out the eye candy on the strip.

You have to drink fast and at least 3-4 shots/drinks and not have the buzz kick in before you leave. It should kick in on your way down the elevator. If you're feeling it in the room, you're lagging and drinking too slow. LOL.

Ive been in the PH towers and had no problems. Planet hollywood is a party hotel, you must have just been not to lucky. Last spring we had 3 suites and about 20 - 30 people at times, booze all over, yada yada yada, you get the idea.

People actually live in the PHT they sold about 40% of it as condos.

I'm from Wisconsin - why does it make more sense to pre-game if they're from Wisconsin?
All of the guys that I've hung out with from Wisconsin drink a lot of beer and then drink some more...which means we should drink some of those beers in the room where it's cheaper.

Can't argue with that strategy! Nothing like timing that buzz to kick in right when the elevator opens to the casino...Vegas magic!

Thanks for the input. I think PH Towers will work out. I looked at Aria and the site or brochure says that you have to purchase all food and beverage from the hotel. Never seen that posted like that. Looked purty, but I'm definitely looking for party over fancy.

and those people know what they got themselves into. I love staying at the PHT as much as the next person, but I would not live there while expecting any kind of peace & quiet during prime time.

and to disagree with what someone said earlier, partying in the hotel is part of the Vegas experience. If you go to sleep after the clubs let out, you're not doing it right. It's also a great way to convince girls at the club to leave with you, everyone loves a good suite party, especially if its not your suite.
