People actually live in the PHT they sold about 40% of it as condos.
They sold them as timeshares, meaning they're only there for a week or so at a time. But none the less, they not only pay an initial down payment, they have to pay for upkeep over the year, and if I was an owner w/ a family I would be pissed too. That being said who gets a timeshare in Vegas to go there as a family?

I've actually gotten upgraded to the 2br penthouse because the front desk thought we would be too loud when we were checking in. no joke.

Damn, maybe I should get extra rowdy at the front desk! I'm just hoping we get upgraded to the higher floors with a view. Hoping a sandwich will help with that.

Never stayed there but with the way they are setup I can't imagine this being an issue.

Last August I think it was there was a HRH room that had music blaring 24/7...I shit you not. We finally knocked on the door and were like, "you guys have been raging for 4 days straight all day and night, we just wanted to meet you and shake your hands" haha.

I can't stand people that try and complain about people being loud in Vegas...YOU ARE IN VEGAS IN A PARTY HOTEL!!!!! Besides that, 99 cents and you can sleep as long as you'd like, they call them EAR PLUGS!!! (INVEST IN THIS)

Benny Lava brings earplugs everywhere, house parties, vegas, etc. He always gets his beauty sleep.

I personally am usually hammered enough that an earthquake wouldn't disturb my slumber

I know ph towers is a smoke free place, I was wondering if I smoke in the room will I get kicked out?

Does anybody know the fine for smoking in the ph towers room?

you won't get kicked out, you will get fined, and it's for a lot. One time we got a $600 cleaning fee, and I imagine it's in the same ballpark. Don't do it.

You'll have to take the elevator down, and smoke in the little parking area off to the side.

Not sure of your budget but look into an MGM Skyloft. A lot more impressive then PH Tower and amazing for partying. You can smoke and each loft is virtually sound proof. Book a 1bdrm and get some extra rooms at MGM.

I don't smoke, but I stayed in the MGM Signature which is Smoke Free. I had a 'guest' who insisted on smoking but didn't wanna have to put on clothes to go outside... So, I turned on the hot shower and they smoked in the bathroom... No one noticed. Not even room service who came in 'At the time' to deliver more towels... I guess steam and body spay do the trick. But, next time I'll try scented candles too...
I still remain "the best kept secret"

One of the main appeals of PHT are the moderate suite prices. If anyone could stand to spend the extra dough for a room, there are definitely a lot of better options out there.

personally I'd rather spend that money partying outside my room

This. The PH Tower suite is 1500 sq. ft. v MGM 1 bedroom suite at under 1000. Add the price of the extra rooms and that's a more money for less party space. Space that will only be used for a few hours a day.
