I work in i-banking and do fairly well for myself, but I think a lot of people on this thread simply have different priorities.

For example, I'll usually bring $5k-$7k to Vegas on a typical trip. $4k for gambling, $2k food, $400 misc and $600 for drinking / partying.

So when I see people talking about grabbing crappy pizza for dinner and then spending $1k-$2k per person on a night out I get confused. Just different priorities I guess.

And my involvement in that is what pays for the fun! One thing that I love is finding people to split the cost of bottle service with. When you have a group of people who have the, "Pay To Play" mentality it makes for a much better time in Vegas or wherever. Most recently I asked everyone to pitch in 100 a person for an event at Wavehouse for Skrillex and with 30 people came up with 3000 dollars. That payed for enough bottles for our crew and an amazing spot. That is one thing that I really wanna stress for AOD Members you gotta know you gotta pay to play no mooching. One of the things I do when I am a guest at a table is just give the table commander a hundred dollar handshake one thing I have learned is key here in Las Vegas Day and Nightlife and a reason I get pretty much invited to everything.
      AMEN!!

I work for T-Mobile USA, high level position at technical care/networking dept. I am the one responsible for people to have T-Mobile coverage around New Mexico and Colorado. I also make pretty decent amount of money every year. In addition to Vegas I usually travel all around the country. I usually go to many EDM events across the nation so i spend money on traveling/vacation all year pretty much.

But for Vegas I follow exactly what Chappy said above, get together with people who is down to ''pay to play''. If everyone is down to pitch in for their part to get a great table at Tier one venues you will be paying reasonable amount per person for top level partying and most importantly you will be surrounded by people who has the same partying mentality like you have. Don't get me wrong if you can afford 10.000-40.000 for one bottle of champagne or pay for the entire table yourself that's your choice too and I respect it.

And I also agree that everyone has their own priorities. For example I almost don't gamble when I am in Vegas. If I am going on 4-5 days trip I definitely eat at high value restaurants one or two night, contribute to bottle service for two nights and usually keep it low cost for other nights. I usually try to balance it.

I used to be a guestlist junky, but after I started hanging out at Coltons tables, I decided G/L wasnt as fun. And thats how it happens to most.
+1 agreed. Sometimes you get boned with cover anyway on the guestlist. Better to plan ahead and invest it on the alcohol/table.

LOL. ya you single people. hahah.

I have my weekends where I go without the kids and family and hang out with the friends so those Vegas trips arent as costly. Like everyone else said, we also share the BS and other group costs. I think most of us are in a position where we all like to indulge in Vegas but not to the point where you're paying for all the other moochers. LOL. Party to the level that your group can afford. In the end for me, its not about how much we spend, but more of who we're with.

But man, once you have have a family and kids, you're paying for multiple people. LOL. thats when things start getting expensive.

I do ok. my 'day job' is that of an IT Director for a large HVAC company. I moonlight sometimes doing PCI/SOX audits for small companies in southern WI. That's where the $$ is at. Last week I did 6 hours of PCI work, and cleared $1250 after taxes. So basically it's like working 6 hours for a night of bottle service. Nick- We are thinking about expanding and opening an office in the Eau Claire area... let me know if you are interested...

I may very well be... my fiance' is in job hunt mode and if Stevens Point/Wausau fails we might have to look at picking up and moving. I love Eau Claire (went to school at Stout - Menomonie)... What sort of people do you hire/need?

I'm from Montreal so I can give my Canadian 2 cents lol.

For me, it costs about 600 for the flight itself so roughly 1000 for a 3 day trip. For people that live close to Vegas, 1000 can pay car ride, meals, and maybe 2 nights with BS. Since I'm paying so much for the trip alone, might as well go all out and spend some more. That's how I see it anyway! So I think it's very relative, I just try to stay at my level. Can't compete with the real ballers!

Day job: my website development company, turning 23. Far from rich!

No expert only been once. But if i lived in the states i would go well more, the flight kills me £600. The time i went did two pool party with daybeds and two table service all at the weekend. 13 bottles i think in total spilt between nine.

Then i knew no different was my 30th just threw money at it so i had a good weekend. But the the rest of the time so many ways to have fun there on the cheap and you can see it here in the difference people are spending. From the difference connected people here are paying for tables to people who just do it on the cheap.

To answer the question i have a low payed job running a shop, i just saved up for half the year last time all in cost me £2400 for a week.

I think for the most part, AOD members at least have done the footwork and put in the time to plan things out so that we can maximize our partying experience and minimize costs.

Between guest lists, speaking with hosts to get comps/best deals possible, greasing and just combining the sheer manpower(& woman) we're able to create the illusion that we all have the deepest of pockets
