I work in i-banking and do fairly well for myself, but I think a lot of people on this thread simply have different priorities.
For example, I'll usually bring $5k-$7k to Vegas on a typical trip. $4k for gambling, $2k food, $400 misc and $600 for drinking / partying.
So when I see people talking about grabbing crappy pizza for dinner and then spending $1k-$2k per person on a night out I get confused. Just different priorities I guess.

One of the things I do when I am a guest at a table is just give the table commander a hundred dollar handshake one thing I have learned is key here in Las Vegas Day and Nightlife and a reason I get pretty much invited to everything.
