I'll start off saying I love vegas..I just do. From the midwest originally, now in Charleston, SC which isn't bad, but just can't compete. Starting going when I was 25, been every year since. Now 30. When does it become too old? Every time I go I say it's my last trip, but then I get back and two weeks later am ready to go again. I'll say, been in a relationship and out there and still had a great time. I'm thinking mid 30's I'll have to hang it up and call it a day. Actually, I said that after 29 (bachelor party, long story) and continued to go. Never got a feel for the average age on the board. So what is too old?
How old is too old?

the only 'too old' is when they've put you in a box and kicked dirt over the top.
Anytime before that day - as long as you still got the itch, keep on partying....
As for the age on the boards, totally mixed bag....which reflects the diversity of all of us that bow to LV as our Mecca.....mmmmm...hedonism....

Actually every year you go back, you learn to appreciate it a different way. So there is no such thing as too old. Those that think there is, are probably hating their own life anyway

If I get 5 more good years out of it, I'd be happyOriginally posted by IRockNvegas View Post35 I would say, I turn 36 soon . Good bye Vegas
I should have specified too, I'm more into the club scene than the gambling etc. I just don't want to be that guy at the club. I can pass easily for mid twenties though which may extend my shelf life.

My girl is late 30's, I'm 40's, never feel out of place at all. We all see cool older folks at Tryst, Blush, Lavo.....it's a state of mind.Protect yourself at all times
once you understand The Way broadly, you can see it in all things

Ill be 37 next month. Guess where I'll be?? Ive never thought twice about. 40s maybe I'll see more shows, and go to places like Mix or Vodoo. Doubt it though.
Our OG member Universal has no problem hanging. I think he even takes a walker to the club with him.Last edited by dnix; 09-17-2011, 04:57 PM.Blackout Artist

I've never felt out of place at a Vegas club or party pool and I'm 39. Obviously the day will come at some point but I dont think it will be soon.
Age might be more of an issue if I was going general admission and trying to fit in with people a lot younger than me, but my crew always gets bottle service/daybed/cabana and does our own thing.
Keep yourself in relatively good shape, dress well, and know how to play the Vegas game and it's all good.
