+1 here. It's all about how young you "feel". I have friends that are my age that are much "older" than me...hahaOriginally posted by WiscoBrad View PostI'm 41 and don't see any end in site to Vegas trips. As long as you have a good fashion sense and like to have fun you will fit in fine. There is a big difference between your 'age' and how many years you've been alive

Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.
A good friend would bail you out of jail, but your best friend would be the one sitting next to you saying, "damn that was awesome".
I live for the nights I can't remember with the people I'll never forget.

Outside of Vegas I felt old going to a club at 25, since most people I knew were married or heavily into their careers which required weekends as well.
In Vegas it's different because the spending for bottle service requires a certain level of income that most 21 year olds don't have, so the average age is definitely a lot older than say you'd find in a typical nightclub in Toronto.

Good pointer! Sounds like we need to do a table or two in VancouverOriginally posted by MangoPort View PostOutside of Vegas I felt old going to a club at 25, since most people I knew were married or heavily into their careers which required weekends as well.

agree with Mango there. The college age crowd isnt as dominant in the clubs in Vegas as much as the late 20s, 30s. I'm 36 and I actually feel like the scene in Vegas just got revived lately. I think it was stagnant with the same ol stuff the past 10 years. The last 3-4 years has made a difference with the day clubs and the celebrities they bring in.***Feb 2012 - Aria - Marquee *** March 2012 - Encore - Marquee, Surrender

36 here. just dont be that creeper guy in the club that gives people our age a bad name. you know the one that stares down girls a little too hard or tries to grab every girl's arm as she walks by, etc. at XS on Sat I saw one older dude tryin to freak with some girls who were dancing up on a stripper pole. behind his back one of the girls was making the "gag sign" with her finger in her mouth with a disgusted look on her face. hilarious! just have a good time and let the ladies choose you. dont be on horndog status and you'll be ok

Good point. I must admit that I was pretty bummed when I realized I was too old to go on traditional spring break to Cancun and Padre Island. However, you suddenly realize that there are some perks to getting older and making some $$$. Now I can afford to get b/s in Vegas at some of the best nightclubs in the world, which is something our crew certainly would not have been able to afford when we were 21.Originally posted by MangoPort View PostIn Vegas it's different because the spending for bottle service requires a certain level of income that most 21 year olds don't have, so the average age is definitely a lot older than say you'd find in a typical nightclub in Toronto.
As you get older, some doors close, while others open. Vegas is one of those doors that opens up a little later (if you want to do it up right), but definitely stays open a whole lot longer!

I agree. I dont always bring a large bankroll every trip. Each trip is different. Some are mainly for hitting up the clubs and drinking, with a little bit of gambling. I went to LV 8 times this summer and there would have been no way to have pulled that off back when we were younger in college. We would plan out weeks in advance to go to Vegas back when we were 22-23. Now its like we're planning 3-4 trips at the same times in advance within weeks of each other. Some even back to back weekends.
To do the Vegas nightlife, you really need some cashflow to afford it. Its no spring break deals like Cancun or old Palm Springs.***Feb 2012 - Aria - Marquee *** March 2012 - Encore - Marquee, Surrender
