Wow. Makes sense tho. I had a great time when I went to club Nikki. Definately one of my personal front-runners for the nightclub and day club.

This list is all sorts of shenannigans....

        What's Skybar - Hard Rock?

        Where's Marquee?

For that part, where's Tenjune in NYC? Where's SL in NYC?

Tenjune is this waste of a time of a club in the meatpacking district (I think) directly accross from this really rad dive bar called Brass Monkey. It wasn't fun at all when I went BUT everyone at tables was drinking the super high calibur champagne so I guess it makes sense that they're on the list too.

The web design of that website sucks, not very user friendly. I think nikki is so high because while their hosts did a great job of selling tables, their promoters didnt and that has led to the current situation where A5 is not involved anymore, hence why chad changed his email and adam sadie is no longer a part of the company (from what i have heard).

Marquee is prob the exact opposite. While they do a great job of letting GA in, their tables are a bit un reachable for the average consumer, so their total spend is lower b/c the GA spend of $15 per drink brings down the total spend. That is also why i think XS is so low. 7000 GA buying 8 dollar drinks vs 180 tables that average 1.5k to 3k (with limited seating available for a higher min)

This is all opinion so dont quote me, just my 2 cents

I m really surprised Marquee is not anywhere on there. Their cabanas/tables were sold out everytime i was there either Fri/Sat. So I agree with D that this is a BS report

                  I don't necessarily think its BS…

Nikki is a pretty small club, especially relative to XS and Marquee.

So if your looking at average tab per customer, that particular statistic is going to favor smaller clubs that sell their tables out as the average bar tab will be brought up because there is a greater percentage of people with bottle service relative to General Admission.

XS and Marquee may make MORE PER TABLE (1.5K-3K easy on a saturday im sure), but when they also let 3000+ people in on general admission, it brings the average tab PER CUSTOMER down a lot. Where as Club NIkki may only make 500-1500 per table, there probably is only a 1000 or so people in there total, and so the average tab per customer while go up, not down.

club nikki has only been open for a few months, which means less data to go off of. If you average the last 3 months at XS or Marquee and compare them to nikki it way higher. Which ever statistical genius did this needs to go back to high school.

Now that I look at it again it appears none of the Tao Group properties are listed. Has to be some reason for that.

I'm backing out of this debate, the only thing I'm going to say is if you know math, and understand how an average is calculated, then it makes perfect sense. Clubs with higher GA to tables will have lower over all averages.

Average bar tab isn't exactly the number we need to look at. Total revenue is what he should've done his article on.
