Wet Republic Minimums - Calvin Harris/Saturdays

Anyone have the standard minimums for daybeds, couches, cabanas on Saturdays at Wet Republic when Calvin Harris plays (which looks like every Saturday from the calendar)?

Also, anyone have any idea when to expect Daylight's July calendar?

Looking more and more like this is where my group is going to end up unless Daylight announces something good. So, on the map of Wet Republic I saw there are (this is facing the DJ) a couple Daybeds on the left, something like 8-10 across the back directly facing the DJ, then like 12 over to the right in a 3x4 set up.

Which of these is considered the most desirable area? I've never been to Wet Republic... we'd want to have some action but not be getting elbowed around by people standing on top of us, especially the girls, as its a group of couples so no value on female foot traffic, just on most fun spot.

Not that this helps, but I was wondering the same thing. Currently planning on a daybed for July 25, also a group of couples. I assumed the best daybeds were the two on the side, followed by the ones directly across from the DJ in front of the cabanas, and lastly the cluster on the other side of the pool. But that's just my speculation from looking at pictures from the venue.

Does the 40% cover both tax and gratuity, or is the gratuity separate. Could someone break this down further???

It's 22% auto gratuity, 8.1% sales tax and 10% LET (when applicable). I believe that most of the time LET is not required at Wet.

Sorry to hijack this thread, just need to ask a very random question.....myself and 20 other lads are going to wet republic on the 4th July with a deluxe cabana already booked. I was just wondering whether we would be allowed by security to take a rucksack inside (storage for phones, wallets, etc and leave it at our cabana or do we have to get a locker for it?

If anyone cares to know, I got quoted 3k for a daybed for Calvin Harris... host I spoke with said anything at 2k wouldn't get seated.

I got quoted $2k from a direct host and have an email confirmation. You think they won't honor that when we get there?

This is probably moot at this point since we decided to get an upper cabana at EBC for Zedd for the same $2k instead (and thus I plan to cancel the Wet daybed), but I would like to know if Wet has a habit of lowballing and then not honoring their quotes.
