I dont think you should bother with Daybeds personally.

Just go to a pool party that is big enough to enjoy general admission and where you dont need a daybed.

If you want real estate you gotta pay through the nose for it.

For standard pools I think the Boulevard is the coolest. Nice spot. European at the Wynn is nice, but you still gotta pay for your spot.

Ive had fun in the past at TI if you want something down to earth that isnt planned. But that was before I even knew of, or had been, to to a pool party.

Its luck of the draw really. Sometimes normal pools are magic and sometimes they're dull. Kinda depends on who got into the pool party! I guess the MGM is OK cos the pool complex is connected almost to wet republic, meaning anyone who's too late, or cant handle the pool party pace goes to the standard pools... if you go to cosmo and cant get into MDC for example, the place is a rabbit warren so there less likelyhood youll get overflow from Marquee Day Club.

I had a lot of fun at the adult pool at Caesars (I think it was called Venus) last summer. It was the middle of summer and we kept hearing the music from my room. Didn't realize it was any sort of pool party until we went down there. I enjoyed it much more than my time at EBC. Quickly the top went off and I was having a blast. Definitely not nearly as many model looking women there but I am more of a laid back person (and a self described chubby chaser anyways). Seriously though was a total blast and might be worth it to check out ESPECIALLY if you stay there.

Yup, Venus. It's SUPER laid back during the week - we went on a Tuesday and there were maybe 25 people there at most at any point during the day.

Definitely consider Venus at the Cosmo, Flamingo GO, Boulevard pool at Cosmo, and MAYBE Liquid or Bare (though you'll still probably get a $1500 min for daybed on a holiday weekend).
Memorial Day is just not the right time to come and be concerned about budget. You're overpaying for everything, even rooms. If possible switch weekends. If you can't then no Dayclub will have anything under 2k this year, I guarantee that, not even a daybed, and we don't even have chairs anymore. Cosmo Blvd will raise minimums for seating/beds/cabanas MDW, so throw that out. I think the best nice pools that are good times, but you have to be a guest are... MGM, Mandalay, Bellagio (really nice), Wynn/Encore , Ceasars, Venetian. These have classy nice regular pools you can chill at make friends, music in the background, etc.. etc..
