  • Please throw me a bone,,,

I read post after post and i'm now asking are there any hotels without a "Club" pool that are still fun without spending $3-5K? I do not want a book reading club or a place to nap and I have no problem blowing a few bucks but would rather spend it at night. Last year we stayed at the MGM and it was great until Fri and Saturday when what seemed like the River was taken over by 5000 10 yr old dance competitors.
    Any suggestions are GREATLY appreciated.

    Cheers,

    European pool at the Wynn
There's a bar, sometimes a DJ, fun atmosphere. Not too crazy like a pool party but still 21+ and a good party vibe.

Also, Flamingo GO pool isn't too bad for cheap.

There's also the smaller party pools that aren't anywhere near $3k, like Liquid and Tao.

Cosmo has the Boulevard pool which is a fun adult scene. Music, booze, lots of people and zero kids/families. You can reserve in advance chairs and daybeds. Marquee Day Club is up a flight of stairs.

I know the daybed was $750/Friday. I think it was somewhere between $750-$1,000 on Saturday. Email [email protected] and ask for a quote. No host. That's a F&B minimum spend, not a fee. Boulevard has cabanas too but those are 2-3x the cost and off to the side (or worse on a second floor).

Planet Hollywood's Pleasure Pool can be fun for cheap under two circumstances, one you can look past how boring/crappy it looks and two you understand that most of the hot girls are at the real pool parties or fancier pools (meaning it's rare you find anything above a 6/7 there).

Treasure Island can be hit or miss, they have a DJ (no big names, more like radio DJ's) on Friday's and Saturdays.

I am in the same boat... the pool party scene is not my cup of tea. Plan on doing it one day on my next trip bc the rest of my group wants to.

But its good to hear other options where you can still enjoy good music, booze, etc. while avoiding kids/families/massive crowds.

For the European pool at the Wynn, do you have to be a guest? What is the entry fee?

The European Pool is guests only. No entry fee though.

Why don't you like pool parties? Perhaps we can find a pool party that addresses your dislikes.

Thanks everybody for the ideas. I got a quote from a guy at Drais for a daybed and was told about $3k for MWD. This is why I sent out this post. I just wanna drink, party and not have to blow my night $ on a bed to keep the kids away. lol
                        I def check out Wynn.

Monte Carlo on Fridays and Saturdays. Also I have enjoyed Venetian Pool right outside of Tao.

There's your real issue. You're going MDW. Even GA is over-priced on holiday weekends.

Definitely consider Venus at the Cosmo, Flamingo GO, Boulevard pool at Cosmo, and MAYBE Liquid or Bare (though you'll still probably get a $1500 min for daybed on a holiday weekend).
