Lavo Brunch vs Ghostbar Day Club

I hesitate between Lavo Brunch and Ghostbar Day Club on November 1st. What is the main difference between the 2 events ?

I've heard of $200 mins per person for eating/drinking at Lavo Brunch. Not 100% sure.

Mins are lower at GBDC ? Since I'm staying at Palazzo, would be easier for me to try Lavo. I'll get all the info and let you know. Would have liked to get the input of someone who tied LAVO Brunch in the past...

I've heard pre-sales are good for GBDC, they're only $10 plus fees last time I looked.
We did the open bar wrist bands for Ghostbar on a Friday night and we found plenty of space to sit and chill without having a table booked.
Unsure what it's like for the day club, from what I've seen it looks like no-one does a lot of sitting anyway.

The basic difference is that no one eats at GBDC, its definitely a party in the day time just as the name indicates. No matter what your doing at GBDC i would be stunned if you ended up spending a ton, and you'll still have a good time (this is the place that offers 40's in a brown paper bag so its for sure just a cut loose type of spot) I have done Lavo Brunch in the past and its a good time, but you better keep ordering or they are at some point kicking you out. I don't recall what i spent but i know i had a bit of sticker shock initially at the end of my Lavo experience, though i DID have a good time. Hope that helps...

Noah thanks for the great info! Especially for those of us who dont usually make it down after the pools are closed. I may find myself visiting a couple of times this winter and XIV and Lavo sound like something I should not miss.

Okay, I've done a few posts on this topic last year. Things have changed slightly this year due to Palms lack of popularity, large decline in notarity/popularity/club value and pull. Lavo Brunch will be the hotspot all winter long of the 2. it pulls bigger and better industry, hotter girls, better energy party, better production, higher caliber DJs, and will be more likely to get your moneys worth and take home a hell of a party experience. Plus only Lavo has food.

GBDC used to be a great party with half industry, decent crowd and popularity, good energy and have a sizable amount of hotel traffic.

For cheap bottles and a view pick GBDC...for the busy all out party with a great crowd, hot girls, and a larger all out party experience LAVO Brunch will be the goto spot for Satruday Day.

The other Day party you dont want to miss and myself along with everyone else always raves about and will literally do whatever it takes to not miss even if crammed at the bar or in a crap corner will always be the monthly Sunday party at Hyde known as XIV. XIV by far takes the cake of all day parties in my book including every pool party, every brunch, etc.

Wintertime day parties in order... XIV (once a month themed party Sundays at Hyde Bellagio), LAVO Brunch (every Saturday at LAVO in Palazzo with food), GBDC (only if on a budget and looking for cheap bottles and a cool view).

Lavo Brunch on November 1st: This is the answer I got from a host.

"An entry level table for two will start at $300 + tax. If you'd like an upgrade for location, consider a 1k table."

I believe they close a week or two after St. Patricks Day weekend.

I have been to Lavo Brunch twice and had an awesome time both times. First time was on NYE day, which totally fucked with my night plans lol. It definitely isn't cheap as it aligns more with the dayclub/nightclub pricing model, but totally worth it.
