For all the men out there- Question about women's outfits at the pool parties?

So i'm planning on going to wet and just had couple questions about what guys like I have a nude/gold bikini and a sequin see-thru cover up and heels. ( I'm tan so it looks good) .... Just have question about hair and make up??? I'm all about doing my hair and putting on make up when I go out- just curious if guys like this at a pool party??? I see all the pics with girls all done up like at a club.... is that what guys like at pools like this??? I usually do my hair when I go to the pools at vegas but I pull it up... ????

Also- be honest- do guys all hate the sun/straw fedora hats that us girls all like to wear at the pool??

I personally think looking TOO dolled up at a pool party is a bit try-hard. But then I love that casual dressed down look on girls.

One thing I will tell you though - Its not guys that will notice the details, its other females as im sure you know!

Its 10x more attractive if you're friendly and a good laugh than whether you're up to the minute with the latest trends...

My advice is a bit of make up - not too much, dont be like you were out for the night for example, just be comfortable and look hot! The pics you see online are marketing shots with girls in bikini's high heels and all that...

Sun fedora hat? If you like it wear it. As a guy I will wear the ball cap at times throughout the day because the whole burned scalp thing is just a pain. Forget roughing it like a man, I'm about not looking like I have a serious dandruff problem in 3-4 days.

Now if I'm worried about that, I can't imagine what the women are thinking regarding makeup, hair, fedora, etc. throughout the day at the pool. To much work and worry. It's Vegas, simple and easy especially at the pool. Do what you like and if they don't like it, they're probably jealous anyway.

Girls that come completely made up and with their hair done come across as (a) trying too hard, (b) arrogant, (c) bottle rats (i.e. they aren't thinking about jumping in the water but just getting into some dude's cabana/daybed

I actually don't mind those hats, but they only work on girls that aren't too made up and who have that girl-next-door look. Otherwise they look like they are trying to replicate some spread they saw in Vogue. Also, there's nothing attractive about a lobster-coloured girl if she gets roasted in the sun.

If you're wearing a hat, then I guess there's no point in spending too long on your hair. Spend some time on it, because ratty hair that is a mess isn't going to be attractive.

Also, pictures of the suggested outfit would allow me to give you a far more informed opinion as to whether it works for you.

fedoras are great at pool parties, just not the big hats that goes out to your shoulders.
having your hair done is nice but not really necessary.
make up, keep it simple/natural looking (best look IMO).
most of the day you'll be wearing sunglasses so fake eye lashes aren't necessary at all.

I say go all out. Did you see the pictures of the women that work there? I think there's a requirement for them to have abs. I wait all year for this, got to the gym get all new shorts shoes and sunglasses for this and I'm a guy.
