Towels are a must! they're free & for everyone. I've had no issue bringing in any kind of sunscreen & size doesn't matter. BTW towels serve multiple purposes...something to dry ya off, something to sit/stand on cause the ground is on fire, and a way to hide your valuables...2 of my boyz "lost" their slipper/sandals last year...when that surface gets hot I guess there's a run of sandals!

Oh and for the rest of "us" that dont do cabanas, Towels serve as a way to separate my stuff from yours.

wet is a freaking body scan. read some stories here in the forum that a lot of people were not allowed to bring their sunscreen in or even lip balm.
i didn't have any issues since i didn't take anything with me but they did the body scan at wet. no issues at marquee and ebc
      wonder if that has changed?

Is there any merit in bringing your own towels that are a different color for staking out some chairs? If ya have a group of 5-6 guys, and get there in time to grab chairs.... It would seem throwing say, bright yellow, towels on all of em would sorta eliminate the "no that's MY (insert hotel pool name here) towel? Or is that not a concern?

No such thing as chairs if they're not daybeds and nothing is free at major dayclubs with guest DJ's. This is not the case at your local hotels guest pools that arent the event pools....where you're theory will work.

Not sure that makes sense... Ditch Friday (for example) allows early entry to hotel guests and has a ton of chairs that are first come first served. Fairly easy for palms guests to grab several. Liquid also has group of chairs that are free to first folks who grab them. I wouldn't go so far to say there is no such thing as free chairs...

Probably depends on where you go. At Tao Beach & Liquid, we had no problem bringing in sunblock. Wet Republic was a no go. Haven't been to the other places yet.

Sounds about right. Walked into Wet with the 2011 invasion and Augustine's wife told us they made her demonstrate her actually using her Visine, lest it be drugs in a small 1oz bottle.

It depends, I've taken 2 bottles of sunscreen, 1 a liquid & 1 a spray and I'm black (I still get sunburn )...so it probably depends on the bouncer guy doing the body and bag searches.

Ya, Tao let us bring in sun can, but I have not seen anything with Daylight? What do they not allow you to bring in?

Sorry, but how can they NOT allow sun cream into a pool party.... do they at least sell it once your inside?

This rule alone would put me off any pool party.

And don't give me any piff about 'F it your in Vegas', you gotto be stupid to not apply sun cream at an all day pool party.

I was thinking the exact same thing! Planning to go to WR on July 20th, and I'll burn to a crisp without sunblock!

Would be good if people could confirm the story on this either way.

I was planning on going to WR but not allowing you to bring in suncreen just reeks of way over the top profiteering, expecially when you'll be spending a small fortune inside anyway. If this is true I would take my business (plus my pale skin and suncreen) elsewhere.

We were at WR a few weeks ago and each person in our group brought sunscreen with them and we all had no issues at all in bringing it in.
They are so strict on any other outside liquids/gels etc but we were ok with sunscreen
