  • Pool party what to bring

Looks like were doing Tao beach, wet and rehab. I was wondering what is the attire/and what to bring.
    guy attire:
    From my read:
    A towel
    Sun screen
    Sunglasses?

    What to wear.
    -board shorts or swimming shorts
    -sandal or flip flops(no shoes?)

    T-shirt?
Does it matter? As in I figured it won't stay on very long but is there shirts/design that is not allowed?

T-Shirt: at tier one spots do not wear a wife beater. I wore one down from the hotel room at cosmo to Marquee and was turned away, despite my protest of "It's coming off as soon as I get in." However the day before I got away with it at Tao Beach, which is not tier one beach party material. Most people are wise enough to know this, I just was lazy and figured what the hell I'm going to the pool..

I think I saw Noah mention the tennis shoe thing in another thread, but ended clarifying that sneakers are okay, but no running shoes. Generally though, it seems that you can't go wrong with either sandals or boat shoes from what I've seen people say.

                Sorry to bump old thread.

I have a pre-sales ticket to EBC. It says no sportswear - by that do they mean jerseys?

I'm worried about my shorts. If I have an all black pair of shorts with a tiny Nike/Adidas/Speedo logo on them does that classify as sportswear?

They mean baggy basketball shorts and basketball singlets - you should be fine with swimming shorts
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

When you say wife beater, do you mean a white vest? (or tank top maybe depending where you're from)

I wore a vest at Wet Republic and EBC and was fine at both, they came off straight away though. Swimming shorts, flip flops, and a hat to keep my head from burning due to thinning hair haha.

A few questions on what you can/can't bring in...

                          SUNSCREEN:
Some have mentioned you can't bring any in.. others have said non-cream kind....others have said small containers are okay? What's the scoop? Sunscreen is a must for those daisy-chaining pool parties together... what kind can we bring in without hassle? Example... can we bring in one of these small 1oz travel size tubes in a suit pocket?

                          FOOTWEAR:
I know flip flops are okay but what about sanuk slide-ons like their vagabonds? I'm assuming it's cool, being a pool party but just wanted to be sure.

                          TOWELS:
Are these only available to those with Cabanas/Daybeds or can GA folks grab one on the way in without issue?

                          Thanks!

I think the towels are available to anyone, we didn't bother though, it was baking hot so you dry off pretty quick anyway.
