2012 Pool Season Dates (opening/closing)

Early Bird Pool Party

Hey guys, it seems like most of the pool parties are technically opening in early-mid March but not having any huge "grand openings" until Mid April.

What is your experience at these pool parties from those early opening days between March and April?

I'll be going in a week and a half, and I can see Wet Republic and Bare will be open. Any advice on these events? group of 6 late20 guys; should we definitely hit up both? One or the other? Cabana rentals? we'll be there Sun-mon-tues...thanks!

i'm planning a trip for late August and was wondering if it's worth it to pay up to stay at either Wynn/Encore or the Cosmopolitan to be able to get "easier/free" access to their pool parties. My guess is we'll do Ditch or Marquee on Fri, Wet or Marquee on Sat, and ECB on Sunday. Any recommendations on which spot is better on Fri and Sat? I just dont want to wait in long lines or pay a couple grand for a daybed when its only 4 or 5 guys. thanks
