The Flo Show MDW 2014

First, PLEASE excuse grammar. I am not a writer, and certainty not a good story teller. I suck at it. SUCK AT IT!!! Its why I never do a TR.

I had every intention of making the May invasion, as I have yet to miss one, but for some reason this year, i just wasnt feeling it. A lot of the OGs seemed to be skipping this year. By OG, I mean members that made the first 2 events, or the original unofficial event in July, 6 or 7 years ago. Fortunately, I was procrastinating booking, because about 2 weeks out, I get an invite. An invite to the most amazing experience I could ever dream of. The experience know as the Flo Show.

Considering I go to Vegas a lot, and have some great relationships with industry professionals, Ive had my fair share of great moments. On my bday a few years ago, I threw up at Holly Madison's DF table at Tryst. She wasnt impressed, but I was allowed to stay. lol Some people like to twist the story, and say I threw up on her, but that didnt happen. I made sure I missed everyone. lol XS gave me a DF table that same weekend, and out of no where, a female midget jumps over the backside of the booth, and starts freaking on everyone to get the party started. We were so shocked we didnt know how to respond. lol Another time at XS, I felt like dancing, which means I was REALLY drunk, and I stole (yes stole) a bedazzled purse from a girl in the booth next to us, and put on a show. Im sure in my mind I thought it was dancing, but the video shows otherwise. Luckily when security came, they decided against kicking me out. Like I said, Ive had some great moments, but nothing prepared me for this past MDW weekend.

That being said, I was a drunken mess this trip, and blacked out A LOT. lol Im having to rely on pics, and stories from friends. Also, because of the crew I was with, it would be impossible to conceal identity, so a lot will be left out. The TR will mainly be schedule and pics. Sorry

Before the shaming begins on the lack of details in the TR lol, Ill start with the end of the trip, so you realize how bad my drunkenness was. The crew was heading to LA Sunday to finish the trip. I was planning on heading home, because I knew Id need a couple of days to recover. We started on Wednesday. Sunday morning about 730am, I wake up in a Encore Villa in the pool table room on the floor. I have no idea why Im here, or how I end up here, and not in my room at MGM. I start stumbling around the villa, and cant find anyone. It seems empty. Right then, a concierge greets me in the Foyer and ask if Im ok. I come to my senses a little, and realize I have an 845am flight, so I now have 2 choices, leave all of my stuff at MGM, or miss my flight. Having missed a flight on a holiday in Vegas before, I know that option SUCKS. I tell the concierge I have a 845am flight that I cant miss, and he says no problem, and they rush me to airport. I barely made the flight, and luckily without permanent marker on my face. Yes, this was a concern. As I was flying through security, this is all I could think about it, did my friends fuck with me while I was blacked out on the floor? They didnt. lol Fortunately, MGM was amazing to deal with regarding my loot. Everything was inventoried and shipped promptly.

Just an awesome start, and don't sweat the details too much seems like you take a lot of pics and videos and sometimes that gives you just as much an idea of what the trip was about. BTW, throwing up ON Holly Madison would have been legendary, as it stands still a tale worth a few drinks if I'm ever in Vegas during the same time you are. Keep it coming!

Wednesday 5/21
I land around 2pm. I had been up for 36hrs now (work related), and hadnt had time to get a haircut. So after I check in, and put all of my stuff in the room, I decide to check out The Art of Shaving. I had heard a lot about this place, but I always groom before a trip, so Ive never needed to go there. I got a haircut and the Royal Shave, which is what most people suggest. After tip, I think it was close to $100. I wasnt impressed at all. Its Vegas, so I really didnt care about the money, but I honestly didnt see anything special about this place. The shave wasnt event that smooth. My barber at home does a much better job at a haircut and shave for about $30 with tip. Shell even give a neck massage. But whatever. They didnt fuck my hair up, and that is definitely the most important thing. I decide to walk back to MGM because I needed a few things on the way. I get back to the room and end up passing out around 8pm. This was a big mistake, as I didnt wake up until 3am. Fuck. Obviously i have missed calls. I was dead. I shoot the crew a text, and sure enough, their leaving Light and headed to Rhino. Ill post the pics of Light anyway. Obviously, I was very disgusted with myself, unfortunately this isnt this first time it happens.

lol...This is the first time Ive ever shared that video with the public, for obvious reasons. There are more videos of that night. I have no idea WTH I was thinking. Ive seen the movie Hitch. Obviously, Will Smith had no impact on me. lol

Man, when I woke up the next morning, I had several text from host friends "Did you really throw up on Holly?". lol I wasnt even drunk yet. We all did a bday shot, but someone failed to take the ice out of mine, and I choked on it. lol

so I head to the Rhino.....SOBER!!!!

Now, Ive been to the Rhino many times, but going sober, was definitely a first. I get in and head to the Champagne room. Right away, I see Flo giving girls piggy back rides to the restroom. I walk in the room, and its obvious the group has taken over. Everyone has at least 1 girl on their lap. Some 2 or 3. I see bottles of Goose, Don Julio, and a big bottle of Champagne. No clue what it was. I say hi to everyone, but Im definitely late to the party. There is a private bar in the back of the room, so I make a drink, and have seat at the bar, because Im definitely not feeling this party at the moment. Of course, a stripper with DDs, and long legs sits next to me. I mean I am at a strip club. I tell her immediately, Im SOBER, I will NOT be getting any dances!!! She proceeds to chat me up for what felt like 3hrs. At every point that she stops talking, I remind her, I WONT be getting any dances. lol I do get her some champagne the next time I get a drink, just to be nice. Everyone starts to fade out, and slowly start to leave. I make my last drink, and inform her Ill be leaving soon. Oh but WAIT, you have to get a dance before you leave she says. Um, no I dont. I told you I WONT be getting any dances. She begs for me to at least get $100 worth. Ive spent all this time with you. I decline nicely, but Im getting irritated. Then she says, your not even paying for it, whats the big deal? Look at all the money being thrown around in this room. Now Im pissed, cause first off, Im not the type of person to use friends like that, I can pay for my own damn dances, and secondly, Ive had enough of this bitch moaning. So I stand up, and tell her she can leave on her own, or Ill have her thrown out. She leaves.

As I finish my drink, I get a text from Noah Ortiz "CH3". Fuck it, why not? Im just getting started

Honestly, being a host is a lot of work. 99% work and 1% partying. Especially the host that have established themselves. So generally, if Im hanging out with a host, its just chilling. Most of the true partying happens with tourist. I think my first industry outing was at Surrender. XS had a DF table there. We (Ryan Perrings and I) just chilled outside most of the time. Just walked around, and said Hi to other industry professionals. I think at one point we even bought a drink at the bar, in order to avoid going back inside. You have to understand, the ones that take their job seriously, cant risk a drunk "episode" taking place, or being too hungover the next day. These guys actually spend a lot of time in the office during the day, besides being at the ropes at night. I could never do it, thats for sure. If you really want to party with a host, catch them on vacation in Miami, Cabo, Europe, ect. Thats when youll see them at their finest. Im not saying it doesnt happen in Vegas. Thats just been my perspective over the years.
