Uggghhhh I know! Lol it won't be nearly as exciting as yours, but I intend to at least get it rolling tomorrow. I'm back on the sick/invalid list though (told you I'm always injured or something), so moving sssllooowww until further notice.

Nothing too too scandalous just an interesting encounter and exchange of numbers and promise to hook up in Cali. I won't use her real name as that seems like a betrayal of trust but I'll give a few details and perhaps you might be able to guess.

I just knew there would be at least one incident where "O" would be kindly asked to leave the premises lol. Again I can relate way too well.

Bartlet: Can I tell you what's messed up about James Bond?
    Young: Nothing.
Bartlet: Shaken, not stirred, will get you cold water with a dash of gin and dry vermouth. The reason you stir it with a special spoon is so not to chip the ice. James is ordering a weak martini and being snooty about it

That said, when others leave those big wide openings, just so much easier.

Loving the detailed report, keep it coming!
HA HA that was actually pretty funny and i suppose a very good point. I think the kid was not angling for that point though and was out of his element with the order as he ordered his with vodka as i recall and didn't know what his vodka of choice was! SMH.

Thanks and that night talking with that lady and seeing all of those people enjoying themselves and celebrating life was a real cool thing in person man. Put shit in perspective, at least for me.

Just a point of curiousity - What would you say you would spend (or have spent) in Vegas, if you were there for 2-3 nights - for non-gambling, clubbing activities? If I go solo, it looks like my budget should be higher than going with a buddy, right?

The dancer brings a pal - does this mean a "menage a trois" in the making?
I won't disagree with you the one on the left was actually very good looking in person as well, and was a very kool chick actually, very sweet. I would say it was a toss up between her and Dani for me initially, but as i will describe on my post for Saturday night Dani's personality and sense of humor was way more in line with my own. Even the shorter one next to her was sneaky hot in person; i did not care for the blond she was a bit of a downer and not so great looking IMO.

For 2-3 nights in Vegas it really depends. Definitely take advantage of the forum and try to link up with whoever will be in town when your planning to go (i didn't this time as far as tables, but that's just because for the most part i was set). If your a drinker like me it can cut back on your tabs considerably. As you know you can get really good package deals online for flights and rooms. I think for this trip my initial buy for the flight and room from NY was less than 1000 for 10 days booked a few months out, and the sandwich saved me a ton on the upgrade and resort fees. So the cost of the room should be considerably less for you depending on where your flying out from. I would say you CAN get by realistically on 200-300 a day for non gambling activities over the course of 3 days and have a GREAT trip, i've done it on less as i won't pretend that i was even close to being able to really afford Vegas when i first started going.

Definitely you wind up spending more when you go solo than with a buddy though, but after O left i was on my own and still had blast. After i got back and looked at my AMEX bill there was really only one night that was a WTF moment and i TOTALLY went overboard (details to come) on that night so i had only myself to blame.

Here is my opening and i want whoever is reading to read the next sentence closely. The kid (i guess he was actually probably my age around 30ish), proceeds to order a Martini (so far so good) but orders it "stirred not shaken!". Now anybody who has an affinity for Martini's, or for that matter has seen a James Bond movie knows that Martini's are fucking "shaken not stirred" yes i KNOW you can order a MARTINI however you like its your prerogative, but whats the point? You might as well order a straight up glass of Vodka and call it a day. My bartender tried to gently point this out without clowning the dude in front of 4 good looking women, but he was adamant about his order as the bartender, myself and the four women made eye contact and openly mocked him to his face. There's my opening.

I decline her offer to buy me a drink but say i will trade her another round for one of her 2 dollar bills and she agrees. As i said i believe fully in karma and luck so a 2 dollar bill from a 20 year cancer survivor in Vegas has to be some kind of luck no? I say yes and that 2 dollar bill now sits in a frame on my trading desk at work.

I am leaving for Vegas tomorrow morning, I probably won't remember a tenth as much as this, but this report has inspired me to share my experiences once I get back.
