I love the part about being slow on the uptake when everyone else was talking about drugs. A similar thing happened to me a while back in Vegas when my buddy and I were sitting at our table with a couple girls and then kept saying "we're rolling," which to me meant "hey, we're leaving," you know, as in "we're gonna roll out of here," so I just kept saying "alright, see ya" and they just kept saying it with more and more emphasis like "no, we're ROLLING!" until finally they flat out said "NO, we're on ecstasy, do you want some?"

Dude, I mean like I said I been around alot of people who do alot of things, but yeah if you know the right people it's readily available nowadays out there. Hell I don't even actually DO any of that and I found myself being able to provide guidance on where to find it.

Either it is or I apparently just REALLY look like I want to buy drugs because every single trip to Vegas I'm approached on the street numerous times and asked if I need drugs.

4/26/14:

I did not go to the gym. I woke up with the dancer and her friend still there and was exhausted and a little hungover. Sucked because even though i fell asleep around 7am i woke up around 10am and was up for good. I decide to head down to O's room because he would be leaving this morning and i wanted to say bye. Head down, say my goodbyes, he leaves me with some of his "inventory" (i don't use it but am sure i will not have a problem giving it away) and he heads to the airport. The two Canadian chicks are staying an extra 3 days and still have the room, but i make a promise to myself to stay away after being propositioned by the EX twice on this trip. I head back to my room and again the dancer kind of makes rumblings that we should spend the day together (i feel bad but I DO have plans) so politely decline.

I get ready to head over to EBC for the first time this trip and hit up Dani and the girls to head over there since they have a daybed and insist its all on them after me and O payed the previous Cabana. We head over pretty early so the line was short and obviously since we had a daybed entrance was even shorter. The place fills up FAST. EBC is always a good time in my opinion as long as you have some real estate. I honestly don't know how good of a time i would have had in the sun all day with no place to relax.Also the ability to have someone constantly bringing you drinks instead of having to fight for them at the bar is a HUGE plus. My opinion pool a couple folks together and grab a daybed or better if you plan to hit any of the major pools. Deadmau5 (is that right? is that the DJ's name? i think that's it the guy with the fucking angry bunny head) was spinning that day and though i am not a huge fan of EDM i actually REALLY enjoy the music. Upon my return home someone explained to me that Deadmau5 is more "house" music than EDM so perhaps i enjoy house music? The only complaint, as anybody who has been to EBC will probably agree, is that the space is just small. Again i would have left after a few hours without the day bed i think. For those who might inquire the "talent" left no room for complaints on my end.

Throughout the day myself and Dani (both fueled by alcohol) had been making out at the pool. Somehow, this lands me back on the blond married chicks shit list and i get the cold shoulder from her for the rest of the day. Whatever homey. The drinks are flowing and all is right with the rest of our little crew and we stay until around 5:30 with no one complaining of not having a good time.At this point i think my body is unwilling to put Earl of Sandwich in it so i make plans with Dani to have an actual meal. I tell her pick a place and she doesn't disappoint as she decides on Jean Georges place in the Aria. It's a steakhouse and i am Happy.

Head back to the room to get ready and we meet up. Quick point: I wear a suit almost everyday of the week so if i can, i try to avoid putting one on unless out of necessity. I don't mind them in the slightest but like the ability to dress casually. Anyway upon meeting up with Dani i realize i am woefully under dressed but she is fine with that. We head over and the meal is what you would expect, no complaint on my end. Price wise i have dined at his restaurants in NYC and spent WAY more and i found no dip in quality (my opinion the tasting menu adds up to the same as what you would spend ala carte if your not drinking wine). We get to know each other better etc.

Tonight we all have plans to head over to see Nas at 1OAK minus the blond hater who seems determined to burn a hole in me with her dirty looks... I head back to the room and go change and we head over to the spot. Of course there is nothing but people on the line waiting to get in and the girls panic that we will be online for like 2 hours. Not so fast. My cousin "D" (who plays basketball in Germany) who is in town training with some folks who are preparing for the NBA draft and some of his buddies have a table and after telling him i had a crew of cool attractive chicks with me the dudes tell me to bring them through...

We had a lil bit of a situation when one of the girls made a wrong turn and walked out the exit by accident and security wouldn't let her back in even though he literally waved her in and then WATCHED her make the wrong turn. So at one point there was a group of extremely tall men about to brawl with the security staff until a host took care of it. Anyway the table is good, its the banquet right across from the main bar and basically on the dance floor. Oddly enough i take my first pull of a joint on my trip that night because after 30 minutes there the smell of weed is in the air and no one seems to care.Well allright. Everybody gets along well and because of the group i am in every time anybody is pulled into our table i am asked "do you play basketball too?" after the first five times of saying no, Dani convinces people that i am their agent and paying for all of this. The rest of the group finds this hilarious and plays along so now i look like the Baller of Ballers among a certain type (bottle rats) of women and some girls are literally falling over themselves to give me their number. SMFH. Whatever man. As for NAS anybody who has been to a "concert" at a club in Vegas knows what it was... he didn't come on until around 3:00am was on for 20 minutes and bounced. He did bring out Too Short, and oddly enough the skinny dude with the big ears from BOYZ II Men. Whatever it was as expected and 1OAK was LIVE the whole night, DJ was good and people were actually dancing on the dance floor and enjoying themselves. The girls REALLY want to a strip club so thats the next stop, minus the athletes who have workouts in the morning. My cousin bags one of Dani friends (the one on the right of Dani who is in the pink dress) and thanks me for the "Cliff Paul" (which is what we have started calling assists when on wing man duty).

Ohhh yeah! I was in town for a conference that started on sunday 4/27, for some continuing education stuff for work over at the Cosmo. It was from around 8 to 5pm and once i got back to my room that night i told myself i woukd take a quick nap and passed out from around 6pm until 8am the next day. I almost NEVER sleep that much, but that was my bodies way of telling me cool it down for sure.
