So I guess I should post my February TR before I post the one from this past weekend
Cast - me, my roommate (RM), my friend from med school who lives in Vegas (MS), fellow JCer Ecook (E) and two of his boys
Setting - MGM Feb 6th - 9th
Thursday - We leave LA in the late morning and get to Vegas in the early afternoon. We check in to MGM, pull the $20 trick to get a higher floor with a strip view and get settled in. We eat and drink but don't too much memorable until later at night where we have a table at Tryst. It was my first time at Tryst and it was straight. Highlights included getting sat next to a group of cute physical therapy students and me and MS both hooking up with one of E's friend's cousins who he foolishly invited haha
Friday - We sleep in and don't do much during the day besides gamble. We gambled for a few hours at Flamingo - shout out to Tito who was the craziest/funniest dealer I've played with. He would predict cards, call us pussies when we wouldn't double down and just was in general a good time. That night we went to XS without a table (shout out to Bobby) and had a great time. Highlights included me and RM meeting some Asian Aussies. It was quite confusing when we approached them thinking they were Asian Americans and they busted out Australian accents. One of them said "I love your color" in a sexy ass accent to RM (he's a medium toned black dude). After XS we hit up the Pizza Place at Cosmo and make friends with some random dudes from NYC (this will be important later)
Saturday - E's boys leave early Saturday morning and E is dead from XS so it's just me and RM who hit up Ghost Bar Dayclub (shout out to Christian). It was our first time at GBDC and it was just out of control. Great laid back atmosphere and great energy from everyone. Highlights include meeting a group of girls from Fresno State, the place going crazy when they started playing Booyah
and running into the dudes from NYC again.
After GBDC we go back and get E up and start getting ready for XS again - the Fresno State girls said they were going to be there. XS was fun again and randomly we run into the dudes from NYC again and they end up inviting us to chill at their table which was in a pretty good location inside. We didn't drink their alcohol but they encouraged us to bring girls back so it was all good. We later found out that the Aussies were there too but we didn't see them (thankfully they were visiting LA later on after Vegas).
Sunday - We sleep in and then just head back to LA
