To set the stage, my group was rolling into town with 7 guys for my bachelor party. Here is the cast and crew:

    Cast
Myself – Bachelor - Man of the Weekend – “MOTW”
Right Hand – “RH” – Best Man - Turned Hipster
Skype – Using Skype/snap-chatting his girl all weekend - Not a partier, been to Vegas, but might as well be a noob
Young Buck - “YB” self-explanatory - 7-11 years younger than the rest - Vegas Noob
The Lady Killer - “TLK” – Now retired, but Vegas tries to Unleash him just like Jet Li.
Veteran, quasi local – “Vet” – In awe of “TLK”s gravitational pull
Old Man - “OM” – not really that old, but the oldest of the group to take all the old jokes all weekend

    Supporting Crew Cast (Hosts)

    Joey – Host @ 1Oak

    Thursday

Here we are after all of the planning, contacts, begging of friends – it has finally arrived.
The morning starts off a little astray, when my girl wakes me up at 5:30 AM to say bye before she heads to work. Even though I am on about 4.5 hours of sleep - I’m pumped up and lay there for the next 3 hours unable to fall asleep, thinking I am going to need this sleep! I get up before my alarm finish packing and getting ready for “RH” to stop by at 9:30 AM to get on the road. 9:15 rolls up and get a text I’ll be there in 20 min – awesome. “RH” is notoriously late so 9:35 would be amazing. 9:30 rolls around, 9:45, 10:00, 10:15, finally get a call that he lost his wallet and finally figured out it was in his girls car and her work is on the way to Vegas. He rolls up around 10:40 we smash out get his wallet and continue to make the drive with some mild congestion on the road. Kazflair (on forum – Host @ Liquid) hits me up and says to stop by since he thought we would by and we could plan the weekend at liquid. I told him we’d try, I didn’t realize how long it would take to get situated.

Simultaneously “Old Man” is driving from Arizona and “Vet” was leaving a little later. “Vet” meets up with “RH” and myself and the s--- talking starts. “Vet” continues to Vegas to meet up with his sister, a local and us later in the evening. Around 1 PM, Young Buck and Lady Killer are getting on a plane to arrive at 3 PM. As, we are pulling into the city around 2:45, I get a text from TLK, they have touched down, so I make my way to the airport thinking without any checked bags this was going to be great timing and painless…. At about 3:10 I arrive and no one is to be found at pick up. I circle 3-4 times, finally get ahold of TLK and he cant figure out the airport and ended up in the wrong spot and also never saw YB on the plane. Circle a few more times and finally find TLK, but no sign of YB.YB calls saying his phone was dead and had to buy a $30 charger, but he too keeps telling us he is at pick-up, but we can’t find him…We circle about 20 more times while TLK is on foot looking for him. Finally, around 4, we get them both in the car and continue on to Bally’s. So much for quick and painless…lol.

“OM” is already in the Bally’s parking structure as “RH”, “YB”, and “TLK” arrive we head to check in. I go up to the counter scope out each person and pick a guy who looked to be most Vegas friendly. I walk up with a $50 sandwich, and ask for any comp room upgrades – specifically if there was a shot at one room being a parlor suite. After looking, he upgraded us only minimally to the “new” jubilee tower and wouldn’t take off the resort fees. I wasn’t that impressed for a $50 sandwich. Also, they couldn’t get us connecting rooms so we were about 5 rooms apart on the same floor – no big deal though. We get in the rooms that were nicely upgraded but IMO not worth the sandwich. Where 3 guys to a room (2 beds and they had these chair things that could be pushed together to form a sleep spot). “RH”, “YB” and myself claimed a room and “OM” “TLK” and not yet arrived “Skype” to the 2nd room. “vet” would be staying with his sister. Joey Orr hits me up to see if I needed that contact to Sapphire yet or anything else, which was a nice check-in.

We are in Vegas, baby! We are hungry and want to get supplies so we decide to drive to In-N-Out for some cheap eats then head to Costco or a Grocery store. Mistakenly out of the structure I turn right and end up on the strip – bad move. It takes forever to go that one block. “Vet” meets up with us at dinner and we finally eat and head to Food-4-Less and get $120 worth of assorted beer, 1 lemon vodka for loaded coronas, and 2 packs of bottled water for the weekend and head back to the room around 7ish PM. I brought an ice chest – so we iced it up and kept our beers cold all weekend . We chilled in the room pre-gaming, and “vet” showed some card tricks (as I brought cards and poker chips). Joked around and talked shit.

After all the driving, I really didn’t want to head out to the airport and pick up “Skype” at 9 PM so I texted him and told him to cab it once he got the message and I started to drink! We chilled in the room pre-gaming and started getting ready for Tryst. “Skype” arrived to hotel by 9:30. All three flew the budget airlines and not one was delayed! Awesome! We continue getting ready and drinking and a couple people start making budget comments already and we haven’t spent a dime, especially “Skype” and “RH” and “Vet” (even though “Vet” knows the deal)! I just try to brush it off realizing I should have collected the money before we even left home (like I did with the hotel rooms and supply budgets). They feed off each other, but I push through and keep drinking - even if I have to front it for Tryst were goin.

We were about to head out and Bobby texted me saying he could upgrade us to a better table. I told him if he thought it was better, do it. We arrived at Tryst at about 10:45 and there was a small crowd of people in front and Bobby waived me up. All my buddies were like, “you know this guy?”, “no line?”, “he’s your friend or what?” Here’s the power of the Jack Colton Forums at its finest. He got us all checked through security and to our table where I handed him the agreed upon shake. The waitress comes with the sheet of the bottle deals saying it was all set up and I told her I’d pay with my card and would like to close out up front. She went back to process and the “Vet” says hey my friend is the “manager” here. My card comes back (no auto-grat on the bill, but tax is there). I do the 20% and definitely hurts more when you have to write it in yourself. It ended up being like 20 more bucks since I tipped on the taxed total – no biggie, but food for thought. The “Vets” manager friend came up and congratulated me and offered my group a round of shots – they picked Firebaugh and she brought them back and we hit the shots and popped the bottles and it was on! Never met the bouncer/security and regrettably never tipped the runner, but he still did a stand-up job. When we first got there the club was pretty empty, but it really picked up quickly. Music wise it felt top 40 (as described, but it’s very hard to remember the small details). We hit our drinks very hard more like 75% Goose, 25% mixer lol or maybe 50/50. 1/2 our group hit the dance floor shortly. “TLK” doing his thing and "Vet" trying to keep up. "RH" and myself doin our own thing on the DF - I pretend I can dance, but I really, really can't. lol. "OM", "YB", and "Skype" stay back at table making friends. Redacted.

The bigger upper dance floor table next to us only had about 1 or two guys at it just throwing money around and had all the girls they could handle brought to their table. “YB” ended up getting kicked out while I was coming back from DF. I walked up to security guy I saw near our table area early and asked what was up while he was walking him out –he basically wouldn’t talk to me and when we got to the velvet ropes he told the door man, “if he doesn’t go back inside in 30 seconds, kick him out too”. I was a little miffed at that as he wouldn’t even talk to me on the issue. YB’s loss though, so I go back inside. About an hour after that I was feeling sick and realized I’m exhausted being up since 530AM and drank too much too soon and decided it would be a good point to cut our night. The rest of my group gets our remaining Goose to go courtesy of our runner hands the Moet to the hottest girls we could find (although the plan was to give it to them while we were there lol) and head out. Leave the club, and cab it- where I don’t remember the cab ride at all. We get back and see “YB” asleep on the floor in his boxers and no sheets or anything – good guy gave up the bed. We all crash out somewhere around 3 AM.

    Good man Bobby, thanks!

    Next Up: Friday!

If you have to ask how much it costs, you probably can't afford it! That being said, it's Vegas and doesn't hurt to try!

    2014 - June 5th - 9th (maybe) - Big 30.

          Friday
Whenever I lay down at the end of the night, I am out. I guess my friends wanted to keep going, but once I lay down there’s no getting up. I usually stay that way until the morning “sugar” rush or whatever happens whenever I drink. I am trying to sleep as the sun rises, but Vegas never sleeps. Between the constant construction outside and all the extra noise and that “sugar rush” I kept getting from having OJ/soda as mixers all night, sleep wasn’t all that friendly to me. After passing out after 3, I am wide awake at 7, try to fall back to sleep and am able to do so and doze off until 8, where I stay up until 9, fall back to sleep until 10…Then I am up for the day. UGH! Although, I drank a ton and I forgot to pound some water/food before bed, I’m feeling good, but my other guys in the room won’t wake up. So to be safe, I take an Excedrin, pop open a beer, take a shower, and call the other room and head over there. It’s pretty much the same deal, except “Skype” is up on the phone with his girl – again lol. He had gone to 7-11 already for an ATM and “breakfast”. We chill for a little and I keep trying to get the group awake. It takes a lot, but eventually get most of the group up and coherent and showered by like 12/1. Missed out on the pool party unfortunately.

Once “YB” is up, we harass him about being the young gun that should be showing us up and not being the first one asleep. We get him to tell us about the night… From his perspective the “high(er) roller” was really drunk and kept bumping into my group standing at our table. Finally “YB” was tired of it and the next time he was bumped he dramatically stepped backwards and told the guy he had enough and to stop bumping into him and bumped him back. Apparently that is all it took. I get that bouncers need to be proactive, but they could have told me that the night before. So, I guess this just shows how important tipping these guys can be. I probably could have got Bobby involved to see if he could help, but honestly, didn’t need to make a scene as “YB” seemed to be fine taking off. “YB” is a super mellow, go with the flow guy, so it still doesn’t make sense to me. In any event, I asked if he took a cab home and he said he walked Wynn -> Bally’s. A complete Vegas noob, newly 21, in a drunken stumbling stupor on the streets said he was able to find the hotel with ease, but getting to our room was very hard - he went up the wrong tower then came back down and ended up in a kitchen somewhere, then received help from some workers, but then took the wrong elevator in the right tower, back down for some more help to finally the right floor/tower to try like 5 rooms because he couldn’t figure it out then just grab some floor in the room and pass out. We have a good laugh and chide him with his new nickname “Mr. Kick out”.

Finally, everyone is ready enough to leave and we try to figure out lunch. As my group is already groaning from the cost of the night before – even though 5 of 6 haven’t paid me yet (“YB” overpaid up front, so at least he showed em up somewhere haha). I recommended fast food and we walk to the Chipotle for something a little more fresh. It was a little down the strip (further than I remembered). We finish up lunch and oddly I have gone from good to full blown hang-over mode. I pretty much feel like I want to throw up the rest of the day. After lunch – “TLK” wants to hit an outlet to buy a “lid” in case we do a pool tomorrow. I have no interest, so the “Vet” drives him and “OM”. “YB”, “RH”, “Skype” and I head back to the room. I get out some beers and cards and “YB” and “RH” pass out. Even feeling super sick, I say F this and go to the casino floor with “Skype”. We walk a bit and gamble a little. I end up talking him out of a “star wars” slot as I feel all slots are gimmicky and don’t pay out. He still sits on a slot for “deal or no deal” next to it against my advice. So, I sit next to him on that Star Wars game and put in a 20. While he’s in the process of losing his $40, I win $30 and cash out at $50. Irony…lol. The rest of the group is finally back a couple hours later and asks us to come back to room to plan out our next step.

Joey texts me again asking what was up for tonight and I asked about the Sapphire connect and if he could set up a walk-in for light that we had talked about before. Joey said that he could do both just let him know later. It’s time to hit the strip and maybe get some dinner. I want to go to PBR Rock Bar to play beer pong so we head that way. We ended up at PBR with a meal and a couple beers that took nearly 2 hours…and no beer pong. The meal was good, but took way too long for what it was and we head back to get ready for our night out.

While we start to get ready, “RH” throws on a flannel shirt and I look at him sideways, but don’t say anything as he calls it his “lucky” shirt. We all get dressed and ironed up until the rest of the group sees the flannel and it’s on…jokes ensue. He eventually changes because I told him we want to hit a real club after even though he didn’t bring another solid “club” shirt - the one from the night before had so much spilled on it – he had to borrow a shirt from “YB”, which was the shirt he was kicked out in – more comedy ensues! Most of us brought suit jackets, so we convince “Skype” to put on his blazer he brought, this also becomes a great topic of hilarity as the weekend goes on.

Around 9ish we decide that tonight would be the S.C. night – so, Sapphire it is. I hit up Joey and he sets it all up (limo, free cover, round of shots – the works) – they contact me and said a limo would be there at 10:00. He also hit up a guy at light that would walk us in @ 12:15 for $20/guy and forwarded me the contact information. I was pumped. I planned on the S.C for only an hour – it’s not really my thing. We walk down to the lobby to wait for the limo. I see “Vet” talking with the seediest looking concierge you could ever see, eventually he comes over and is like “Hey guys let me shaft you” – no he really he is just like “your limo can’t even pull up here, but I can hook you up with this party bus and match whatever you are getting”…I tell the group I think we should just stick with what we got, but they keep on it. Eventually, they end up getting in the “party” bus that didn’t even have a sound system with the driver saying we will get all the same stuff and would take us back to hotel for free…He starts driving away and says, “Oh I only drive to CH2, but can take you to sapphire after“ – at this point I knew they/we just got shafted, but oh well. I’m going with the flow. I look down at my phone in the bus and see that the Sapphire limo was blowing me up with 2+ voicemails and a TON of missed calls. I really feel bad, freakin friends got sold. We arrive at CH2, for “comped” entry where we still had to get the 2 drink min ($33) and never receive any comped shot or drink. “Vet” went back out to see if driver was still there to yell at him, but to no avail. So basically $33 cover, no free shot, in a beat up party bus…Thanks for that concierge!

This is the point where “Skype’s” Jacket becomes the topic for much of the chastising throughout the weekend. Inside this blazer is like honey and the bees are swarming it – they must see “sucker” all over it as there is never less than 3 of them around him at any given time. Finally, I’m getting some attention from a bee that isn’t way too aggressive and pushing services that I don’t even want and am just chilling making fun of my awkward friends. After the first 10 minutes, “RH” is basically either at the bar drinking heavily or outside the entire time. The rest are just chillin having an awkward good time.

It’s about 11 and I’m about ready to go, but the freaking Jacket has a mind of its own. It must have a secret power – it pulls out its owners wallet – the guy who was complaining on the budget every chance he got - and then his CC (a HUGE NO-NO in these type of places) agrees to buy a bottle of Firebaugh with his 3 “new friends” and “us”, which none of us really got any until the very end. I’m desperately trying to get my group to stop this BS, since that money could have paid me fore the night before or for Saturday night! They all just laugh in hilarity. From then on “skype” was known as Mr. Bottle…lol. Shortly after that “OM” disappears for a while and this is even redacted from the rest of our group let alone from JC. We are still harassing him about it to no avail.

Finally we are ready to go and it’s nearly 2 AM. We head back to our hotel with our “free” ride that shafted us majorly. Due to the time we missed the walk-in to Light and I’m not too enthused about it. I remember that Drais is in Bally’s and find out it opens at 3 am or so. We talked about going and we go up to room to “pre-game” at 230 AM - LOL (I hadn’t been drinking heavily since I’ve been sick and I hit it hard). Finally it’s about 330 and we head down to Drais – There is already a small line and the “Vet goes to try and work his way inside – but we never make it inside because “Mr. Bottle” and “RH” don’t want to spend $30 cover – lol. We debate it for over 30 min by which point the line is crazy and I say F it and go back to the room and again “YB” takes the floor!

Thanks again Joey for the help that the concierge stole and my friends squandered!

          Next Up: Saturday!

                Saturday
As we head back from a failed attempt of going to Drais, we agree to wake up early and hit a buffet around 9/10 AM the next morning to give ourselves a chance to binge eat, but not ruin the whole day. As I lay my head on down on the bed and start to doze off, I hear the bathroom door slam and “RH” must be sick and it sounds like a T-Rex in there. Finally, it stops long enough for me to begin to doze off. About an hour later, I am up again as “RH” is snoring like a freight train. I wasn’t drunk/passed out sleeping, but normally I am a heavy sleeper –so I am angry at the world that I am up again listening to the freight train and “YB” “talking” in his sleep, which what sounds like he is dreaming about the place we were at the night before and I am thoroughly disgusted. Finally after an hour of wanting to smother them both, I crash at about 7. The other room sends us a wake- up call around 9 for breakfast, so I figure it’s Vegas, so I get up and try to get “YB” and “RH” and am able to roos “YB”, but “RH” isn’t having any of it. Un-showered and haggard looking, “YB” and I head over to the other room and we are ready for breakfast!

I make a couple half-hearted suggestions of better buffets at other hotels, but my own laziness and their budget friendliness prevail. We end up at the “buffet” in Bally’s and I use the term “Buffet” very, very loosely. We are waiting in a pretty long line and someone comes up and moves us to the front and seats us, so that was nice. Basically, it was Eggs, Cheese Omelets, Sausage, Bacon, Chicken Fried Steak, Gravy, Biscuits, Pancakes, Fruit, and the good stuff: Donuts, Bagels, Danish’s. I pile my plate high with as much as I could put on the plate to make each and every dollar from the budget $11 “buffet” count. I’m no food expert and really have simple taste, but everything was either bland or gross (with the exception of the fruit, donuts, and pancakes), so I pick at my food and load up on fruit and donuts (and kill quasi healthy diet for the weekend - excluding booze lol). We are all stuffed and head back up to the room about 11 AM.

I make a couple of rumblings about a potential pool party, but I don’t really push hard as I am OD’d on donuts. After a few failed attempts to rally, I finally tell the guys that I was going to head to my room to try and nap to be some sort of value for the rest of the day. I get back into my room and “YB” is already back and passed out on the floor and “RH” still freight training through his sleep. I lay there watching a few of the tournament basketball games for a while and doze off until about 130. “VET” arrives to the other room gives our room a “prank call” (which was pathetically orchestrated lol) to wake us from our slumber. I try to sleep through it and basically hang up on him, but he is relentless. Finally, I am up and getting ready for the day as “YB” and “RH” are still acting as if they are done for. I tell “YB” to get it together and get up and ready and I head over to the other room. After just chillin in the room for a while talking smack to Mr. Bottle, Backroom, and all the other shenanigans from the night before, “RH” and “YB are finally ready and he’s in the flannel that he still really hasn’t lived down yet – so naturally we give him some more crap about it. We are all hungry again, especially “RH”, who missed out on the “buffet”, so we decide to head to Cosmo/Aria area to go to the Todd English Pub for our group to down a couple free beers (free if chugged in less than 7 seconds - me excluded because if there is one skill I am not any good at - it is chugging a pint of beer).

It’s nice to be outside during the day and this side of the strip isn’t so dingy looking. While strolling we are taking in “sights” on the strip and the strip itself. We walk through the Cosmo and check it out – The group is pretty impressed and we head through the Aria to Todd English’s. We grab a table and it’s happy hour! So, we order a few $3 sliders, $1 wings, and 1/2 off select pints. Normally this place would have been a little pricey for my groups taste, if not for happy hour. “Vet” heads up to the bar to try his luck at the “7 second chug” and gets through it, barely, but triumphantly comes back to the table after almost letting it come back up. I egg “RH” on because if there is one skill in life this guy has, it is chugging beer. Finally the kraken is released and “RH” heads to the bar, orders his beer and the bar keep sets the timer, 2 seconds into the 7, he’s done – the bar cheers in awe – ladies swoon – all the other men bow before him and – the barkeep cries in fear of this man drinking them under! Okay, some of that may be my imagination, but he did get a few wows as he headed back to the table with the rest of my group sort of awe stuck at this primitive masculinity measuring feat. I laugh it off and say good thing there is a 2 beer limit or else we’d be here all day and night! Shortly after, “RH” goes for round 2 and the bar keep begrudgingly pours the beer and “RH” pounds it in another 2 seconds - point, set, and match Todd English. “OM” then gives it a try, gets through it, so it’s free, but it was a miserable sight and not nearly as triumphant as the other two. “YB” and I pass and stick to our poor man’s poison (PBR) and concede that we might as well just pay for our drinks like normal and not spill beer everywhere. Towards the end of the meal, the servers begin passing out free Guinness beers and cake! Score!!! It is their anniversary, which now makes a lot of sense because when we initially arrived I was like why the heck do they have so many employees. I think there were more employees than patrons (which caused many of them to bump into each other and drop glasses/plates/etc on several occasions.) So, we get free beers (I drink “Skype’s” share as he can only muster through one of his “mead” beers lol. My group is stoked, free chugging beers, free Guinness beers, and free cake along with sliders, wings, and fries – it is a little piece of heaven. Thank YOU Todd English! One important note, my mathematician friends who were calculating the bill did it wrong and both “YB” and I both put in a sizable cash portion which gave the waitress a huge tip – like 50%+.

In any event, we head out and stroll around the strip some more. And eventually end up back at the hotel to game plan the night. Most of the guys are bringing up budgets again and “Vet” suggests some club/area that is off strip and I just roll my eyes. I don’t really say anything cause I am trying my best to go with the flow, but really what’s the point in going to Vegas and going to a club off-strip (not even Fremont street, but some other area, I was so uninterested I wasn’t really even listening to them on the name of the area/place). Our previously set up bottle deal with Joey at 1oak isn’t looking good. I try to convince them on the great deal but 2-3 of them have dug in their heels. After fronting most of the first night (only 3 of 6 had paid) – I didn’t want to front it again. So, I head back to the room to get my charging phone and in a little bit of defeat. While I am in my room, I see Joey had been hitting me up. I hesitate to give him a text back as I felt guilty. Obviously I need to let him know, so I give him a text and the heads up that we are going to have to miss out on our table. He’s understanding and tells me that he’ll see what he can do. He gets back to me a little bit later saying that he can do B1g1, with same host tip, but table wouldn’t be as good. I tell him wow, that’s great, but I will need some time to convince my group. B1g1 was going to be like $120 each – SMOKING deal with the same sizable (IMO) host-tip.

I head back over to try to explain/convince them this is the right move. When I get there, “Vet” says he hit up a buddy of his at Hakkassan to see about entry, but his buddy claims he can’t help us and cover is like $70 at the door for guys that night. (I see afterwards that ARTEDM from the forum PM’d me about free guest list entry for guys on the list before 7PM). They are all laughing at the cost and I think to myself that I have no shot, but I push forward saying I think we should still do the bottles at 1oak and that having a place to congregate and not have to pay cover is well worth is – let alone the bottles and that we had been offered B1g1. “Vet” (who should know better) counters with this place that is off strip is $10 cover and we can pre-game harder – the lower end budget guys take the bait and I can’t get them off $10.00 cover. After some time, I see I am not going anywhere unless I front it, which I don’t want to do again. I then give Joey a text that we can’t even do that and they want to head off-strip. I asked if there was a way he could do a walk-in for us anywhere instead to try and stay on the strip. He graciously confirmed $20/guy to get into 1oak. I finish getting ready for the night and go back to my group and say we ARE going to 1oak, it’s at the mirage, it’s close, and it’s a real club, we can get in for $20 each and if you don't like it, tough! They easily agree and it’s finally a win! Joey, being out of town, sets us up with his buddy Ivan and I tell him we can be there at whatever time he needs us to be and are set up for 10:30ish walk-in.

                  Saturday Resumed
We all get our pre-game going and move to liquor instead of beer to get it started right until it’s time to head over. The cab line is LONG and it’s the same concierge that gave us the shaft last night so there is no way I am tipping him to skip the line. “RH” disappears and comes back with a $100 in winnings from that same Star Wars machine, but he doesn’t offer to limo us, cab us, or even pay me for Thursday night…lol. But he is stoked and we are jealous!

We then debate walking or waiting in line, eventually we walk thinking it’s only “one hotel over”. Well it definitely is one LONG hotel over. We get there about 10:40 and all my guys want to hit the ATM/finish their drinks, so I let Ivan know. We all standing around and I’m like you guys ready or what – and they reply to me “Don’t you know someone here. What are we waiting for”. I’m like I’ve been waiting on you fools!!!! LET’S GO! I text Ivan, we walk past a very LONG line of people (at least in my opinion). Walk up to the side of the line I hand him the handshake. Through Joey we agreed on $140.00 (7x20). I hand him a $100, $50, and $20. Threw in an extra bit because it really didn’t feel like enough (and it still probably wasn’t). Ivan’s quick and introduces us to the door man, *****. ***** goes inside to take car of it and we wait and make some small talk. Less than 5 minutes later the velvet rope opens for us and we go through ID check/security and were in. Another “win” moment for the JC Community/forums and feel like a VIP even though I definitely am not!

We enter and I really like the feel of this place. I know some people may think it’s too small and square/rectangle, but I like how it feels intimate and all eyes face DF. We head to the bar on the right and get some drinks. “RH” grabs a beer and I get a screwdriver and asks me how much it costs and I say “Fifteen”, he looks at me funny and says it looks like I’ll be on beer tonight and I think nothing of it. At the same time some bachelorette’s latch onto “TLK” while we are at the first bar, trying to get him to buy them drinks, but he wants nothing of it and we have a good laugh as we poke some fun at him with the song “all the girls love me”. Shortly after that, we cruise the club and end up on the main bar with a nice little “spot”. “Vet” comes up to me and says “good call” and then I tell him that I’m going to well overspend at the bar instead of my $100-120 share for a table (Especially I put in an extra $30 on my cover) and he says “it’s that cheap? We should have done it”…I’m just kind of like…really, c'mon…but I tell him if he can convince the group I’ll see what I can do. He looks around at them, looks back…looks at them…. Replies with, "Yeah let’s just stay here" – lol. “RH” and I hit the bar hard and at point some he sees one of my receipts and says “That drink is only fifteen dollars, how was the first one FIFTY!” He really thought my first drink was $50 haha, at which point he joins me with screwdrivers and we had a good laugh. After a few drinks, we head back to where “Skype”, “OM” and “YB” are and see that “Skype” has ear plugs in. W-T-F....We give him HELL – yes, in all caps. I notice “YB” is triple fisting a few drinks after pre-gaming hard and we are glad he isn’t wearing the “kick out” shirt, but he’s in a blazer so we tell him he’s going to end up buying a bottle tonight and have a good laugh.

We wait and see where “TLK” and “Vet” are, but after awhile we don’t see them. “RH” and I cruise the club to look and never find them. The dance floor is packed and we finally see “TLK” out there doing his thing and he looks like a frog bouncing from one lily pad to the next…haha and we see “Vet” trying to keep up. It’s a funny sight. I motion to "RH" to head with me out there, and again, I can’t dance, especially when I have 2 drinks in my hand, but I try and chug the drinks so I don’t end up spilling them all over myself or someone else. Bubbles, air, wait spray out over the dance floor intermittently; each time sends the dance floor into a frenzy! At some point they also drop light sticks, which were very fun and brought the party up a level. We make a couple of friends on the floor, but I need some air and more to drink. Head to the bar with “RH” and get another couple rounds of double fisted screwdrivers. As we head back to find the rest of the crew, we see “OM” in the old spot without “YB” and “Skype”. He told us the two took off back to the hotel…I was like what, SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!! It was only like 12/1 Their loss I guess. I head to the bathroom and when I get back all the drinks hit me like a tidal wave. I’m drunk I look over to “RH” and we cheer “finally!” – this is where most of the story is pieced together fuzziness at best. We walk back over and see “OM” and as we walk up “TLK” and “VET” are there with some of the friends (1, 2, & 3) from the floor. “TLK” and “Vet” are doing 2 things, 1) trying to wingman it up for “OM” and 2) trying to embarrass me. They ask #1 - that “OM” is into - to dance with me and I bust my small repertoire of moves, even if somewhat awkwardly, but I definitely don’t care in the slightest. I like to dance even if I am really bad at it! We all have a good laugh. At this point I should slow down on the liquor, but it’s Vegas, so I head to the bar to get a drink with “RH” and #2 joins us. #2 ends up buying me shots and drinks. At that point I am trying to be convincing, without much success, that buying me a drink isn't really necessary and that I can take care of myself to no avail. At this point I realize they must be trying to get me drunk and I have a moment where I feel like what most girls must feel on most nights they go out. But I can’t pass up free. We continue partying at the bar for awhile with shots, drinks, laughs and good times. I think we eventually head the Dfloor to bust my super cool dance moves. The rest of the group follows. A little bit later, “RH” comes and pulls me out of a potentially “vegas” situation and that he’s ready to go and I agree. I/we head out with #2 still awing over the power of “blazer” – wait I didn’t have the blazer on, must’ve been the “MOTW” power – leaving behind “TLK” and “Vet” to try and help “OM” out on #1, but it may be a lost cause.

I don’t remember this walk at all, but I have a charge for pin-up pizza on my card and vaguely remember eating some pizza with “RH”. We head back to the hotel and do some minor gambling, mostly losing, but I think/hope I broke even. As we are walking back to the room we see “OM” and the gang at the café where “OM” is still trying to make a move, I get a laugh out of it. From what I hear “OM” spent a good amount of time to wake up “Skype” and get him out of the room, but no such luck, so they were back at the café. “RH” and I head to our room and see “YB” again on the floor. We make fun of “YB” who is still on the floor and I go to harass him to wake him up – but I got an unwelcoming surprise as I kneel down to shake him - the floor is wet…. I look around and see no beer or water bottle and am thoroughly grossed out because it appears he “wet” the floor! Young bucks these days, I tell ya…

We hear a knock on the door that the group wants some drinks (as all the drinks are in our room), but I’m ready to go to bed, and want no part in that potential bad situation, so I go back to “Skype’s” room and try to get him up to get my room back. It never occurred to me to just sleep in the other bed in that room, but that’s drunken logic for you. I head back into my room not trying to kill “OM’s” “Game”, I feel like I’m getting the D2F from #2, which is not gonna happen. At this point I’m so over it and ready for bed! I finally get the group out. It’s well after 4 AM and I realize we have to check out “tomorrow” so I call the front desk to ask about a late check-out. They grant us until 12 PM for both rooms for free, but any later is a charge…finally bed time and I fall asleep rather quickly…

Man the perils of Vegas with cheap friends. No way that taking the bottle deal wouldn't have been cheaper than buying drinks one by one. Good stuff!

Lol. Your host definitely went above and beyond to make it happen. SMH. Crazy how people don't simply just do the math when it comes to table deals. Drink for drink it almost always works out better.

Yeah you guys are telling me...I definitely hit $200+ at the bar and cover. B1g1 share was $80+ less than that. I'm sure "RH" was around 120/150, "Vet" around the same. The only people who probably didn't make $100 was "TLK" and "Skype", since "Skype" head out with "YB" early and those ear plugs were costly. lol.

It was a little frustrating considering I ended up doing all the planning and fronting most of the group bills (rooms, 1st night bottles, even GA into 1oak) on "my" fucking weekend - not to be a groomzilla - lol

Don't get me wrong, we still had a great time - just wish they all woulda planned ahead since I sent them the potential budget months ago. I can't be mad though - they all took time out to hit vegas for 3 nights with a lot of other shit going on. Gotta take my wins where I can!

The opportunities forgone by having cheap mates.

This is why I love doing Vegas solo for this reason! No financial accountability apart from my own.

I've been lucky enough that any trip I've had my friends have had a similar budget and more importantly the same irresponsible attitude about money!

I just can't believe your mates didn't go for that deal particularly when it was your bachelor weekend, they should've been throwing themselves on fires to make sure you had the best send off you could imagine!! I'd say they owe you big time for that catastrophic showing of brotherhood!
An 8,000 mile journey is always worth it when it ends in Vegas!
