What would have happened if you didn't pay that lady $400? Since prostitution is illegal in the county, she couldn't go to a cop or collection agency. If you had told her you needed to check out of the room first, you could have did that, and then just booked it. I don't buy prostitutes but when I have been offered, they want the money up front.
