Staying at Palazzo Saturday morning through Monday (me and the "Asian" left Sunday) - July 13-15
Saturday
I drive out to OC early AM to leave with Ecook and his two boys from HS. After proper intros and some mimosas with Sunny D we hit the road. Drive was cool as we swap Vegas stories and continue pregaming. We get to Palazzo around 12 and check-in quickly. Quickly settle in and pound some drinks before heading to Tao Beach.
Chris Traer hooks it up like always and we have a cabana right by the pool. TB is crowded and cracking and we quickly have some girls at our spot. I wasn't that interested so I walk around and quickly run into this girl who somehow remembers me from last August at TB - I don't. She's ok but I do work on her cuter friend.
End up back at the cabana and me and E decide to do a lap. Before finishing we meet these two girls, one (brunette with blue eyes and a nice rack) of which is immediately infatuated with me. We ask them back to the cabana and then before we have a drink we say F it and ask them if they want to go upstairs.
Upstairs E is making the drinks and I'm going to work. Chick ends up on the bed and E grabs her friend and takes her to the bathroom. I handle my business although the friend interrupts us.
Soon after we finish, the Bachelor is knocking at the door. He tells us to come back down so they can order drinks - we told waitress to only take orders from me and E. E promptly disposes of the girls.
Back at TB I'm all over the place but somehow keep meeting girls with bf's or being approached by ones I'm not interested in. Randomly meet girls that went to HS with some of my best friends.
Hazy on the details between TB and pregaming for Tao but the rest of the crew (save for Top Gun) arrive before Tao plus another group of girls (I think John knew them?) join us for pregaming and beer pong. Don't remember much except for yelling at ppl to stop using the Pedialyte as chaser
We head down to Tao for our table. Tao was cool but we didn't have the best location - Chris wasn't there to hook it up. All good though.
Besides the typical night of talking to different groups of girls
Highlights include
- The Big Guy and The solo female being attached to the hip
- Top Gun arriving and asking E who the hell is the random black dude taking our drinks (me)
- John trying to ration the bottles like we're on Oregon Trail
- Me trying to bag a cougar and her friend by myself at the end of the night and having to settle for Grand Luxe with them
Sunday
We sleep in and after some of the group goes and eats we chill and drink in the room and finally get to Tao Beach around 3 for another cabana.This time the entire group is here.* After a minor delay due to some ID issues we get in and Chris hooks it up with a spot where the stage is. TB is definitely less crowded but there is some talent around.
We're in a great spot as it's easy to see a lot of the talent and I become the spotter and just get girls to come over by pointing and smiling. Due to cockblockers and limited time (closing at 5 for a private event) no half time trips to the room. The guys do have success getting numbers for later.
Definitely a more "chill' time but that's only relative. Me and the "Asian" both have work Monday so we head back Sunday evening and miss out on XS nightswim
Other random notes
- the group was all white except for me and the Asian so several times people questioned how I knew them - trolled them with diff responses (see below)
- we had several different stories of who we were/how we knew each other. My favorite was the Bachelor being a Mormon from BYU and all of us being on the basketball team. This girl who went to BYU believed it and even believed I was Brandon Davies (he's 6'8 and I'm 6'2) and asked where Jimmer was
