I drive to Vegas by myself from LA – some friends canceled at the last minute and flights were expensive and get there around 1230 after leaving at 9. Trip was already looking up. Mike had been there since 7AM and was up about 100 when I got to TI. We start doing some damage on the 1.75L bottle of Ketel I brought and then head downstairs to gamble. Couldn’t get anything going at TI so we headed over to Encore. We can’t really get anything going at Encore but we are burning through strong drinks due to prompt service and not getting killed at the tables. By 6 or 7 we are trashed and decide to crash in the room for a bit. Wake up around 930 to see the sorry ass Lakers getting killed and switch over to the Warriors vs Nuggets and pre-game for 1OAK.
We head over to Mirage around 1030 to meet up with Dan and Ross. We had a table in the main room near the back wall on the side where the entrance to the hip hop room is. Very happy with the location (strong work Dan!) and we had a good group of people around us too. Memory is pretty fuzzy on the exact sequence of the night but we got the night started with some shots at that bar right by 1OAK while we were waiting for our 5th that never showed up. After we got seated we decided on Belve, Sky, and Cap’n Morgan and got the party started.
It was kind of slow at first but really picked up later. Ended up meeting a group of 3 chicks – 1 asian, 1 latina, and 1 black and bringing them back to the table. Right off the bat had a 3 way kiss with the Asian and the Latina and I knew it was gonna be a good night. We had 3 bottles (B2G1 – again strong work Dan!) between 4 dudes so I don’t think anyone minded the girls sticking around and helping us with the bottles. I know they didn’t stay the entire time from some texts I have and some other numbers I have but at some point I do end up leaving with the Asian chick probably around 3.
We head back to TI and get it in. The first few hours were wild and a lot of fun but things came to screeching halt when I noticed a little bit of blood in the bed. I honestly wasn’t tripping but she was so that put an end to the session. By this time it’s 6 or 7 in the morning. I realize that I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours and we head over to Grand Lux. We grub there, come back and chill in the room for a bit and then I send off on her way. Mike is back at this point. I know I must have been yelling all night because at this point I had no voice.
Saturday April 27th
Around 10 or 1030 I wake up Mike so that we can start getting ready for EBC. Find out that the Latina chick got too drunk/sick so he couldn’t close and he just gambled after the club. Get to EBC around 11 or so and the presale line isn’t bad and we get in pretty quickly. Upon getting in I immediately spot this cute Asian chick and I go over and hit on her. She was real cool but she was there for a bachelorette party and of course she was the bachelorette. But she did say “I have a friend who would love you”. Since she was cool and I was feeling generous I got her a drink and we talked for a little bit more. She was waiting on a couple of her friends who had forgot their ID’s to come back. Me and Mike decide we want to gamble while we wait for EBC to pick up and the bachelorette says that she’ll definitely find us later with her friends.
Again we don’t have great luck at the tables but we are staying afloat and appreciating all of the comped drinks. At some point we get a little too cold and EBC is starting to get crowded so we hit the pool. Day starts to become a blur as the drinks add up but EBC was cracking. At some point the bachelorette returns with 3 friends and me and Mike are pleased with what our wingwoman has returned with – three attractive Asian chicks. The one the bachelorette was talking about latches onto me quickly and Mike gets a solid one as well but unfortunately his has a serious boyfriend. We have a great time with their group and generally no hiccups but apparently EBC frowns upon simulated sex in the pool so me and my chick got warned a few times.
After EBC we decide to hit up the Wynn Buffet. They wouldn’t let us in with pool attire so we all had to buy Wynn shirts, the girls didn’t care and bought me a shirt as well. Somehow Mike didn’t get one and just left. Neither of us had our phones (left them in the room) so I didn’t know why he left until later. The buffet was cool but not as good as I remember, I did run through a lot of oysters though. After the buffet 3 of the girls go back to their spot at Mirage while me and ol’ girl go back to TI. Mike is chillin in the room but as a good friend he knows the deal and heads out after I say “Mike” and he’s like “What?” and I say “Yeah”. We handle our business and then I walk her back to Mirage. Her friends are all chillin in the room and looking down for the count.
At this point Mike is pretty much dead after EBC and I’m not sure what I’m going to do. Wanted to check out Hak but didn’t know how the line was going to be. Chick hits me up around 1030 and says one of her friends wants to go to Surrender. I had never been so I say why not. We get in through the invited guest line after a short wait, the girls get in I free and I drop 20. Not bad at all. Surrender was cool but it was weird being there after being at EBC all day. The music was alright but not enough hip hop for my liking and since I came with those two chicks and no wingman I didn’t feel like hunting. The other girl had some friends there so we just left her there and went back to TI. I was a good friend and didn’t kick Mike out again. We fooled around but she wasn’t cool with doing too much while he was there. Thankfully he had an early flight and we were able to get a couple more rounds in after he left.
All in all another memorable trip in the books
