Cast: 5 guys
Monday 22nd: After spending the weekend in Chicago we arrived in the afternoon @ 1730. Checked into MGM in airport and we were in our rooms @ 1810, not bad at all. First stop was STK in Cosmo, great food and talent up there was exceptional. Would highly recommend it to everyone. Headed down to Cosmo Casino which looked dead so went over to Planet Hollywood- much better. Gambled and drank for an hour or so and then back over to Cosmo for Marquee. Booked table service with Justen Crews, didn't actually meet him but had a great table just behind ones on the dance floor for $700 minimum. The service all round here was first class, Ysania was our waiter- very nice girl and we had bus boy that didn't stop all night. The merits of table service were clear as even when the dance floor was full they made room for us to go down. After the first 2 hours we didn't really spend that much time @ the table, was nice to hang outside for a while and move around club. One thing we did find was a lot of the good looking girls were gone by 0130, so a vital lesson learned.
Tuesday 23rd: After a hard weekend in Chicago and first night in LV this was our rest day. Spent most of the day @ the Lazy river @ MGM, great spot. Went to La reve @ Wynncore that night just to tick the box really, was impressive but not really why we were here. Went to Buffet @ Wynn which was pricey but decent enough. One of our crew then went to meet girl who he met in Chicago but technical issues with imessage failed him and didn't happen. We then scattered for the rest of the night for different reasons in Aria Casino.
Wednesday 24th: Awoke the best we had felt all week and headed down to Lazy river again. Got cloudy @ 1600 so headed back to our rooms to get ready for the night ahead. We decided to do 1 strip club so headed for Rhino @ 1830 to take advantage of happy hour until 2000. $3 beers and $100 for bottle of grey goose, cant complain. We got charged for the night ahead and left @ 2030 when cheap booze was no longer available. Headed then to Encore and managed to get through 7 mojitos each in the space of 2 hours at the blackjack tables. The pit boss tried to slow us down but we were having none of it. 2230- straight into Surrender for Madeon and Loco Dice. What a club- probably my favorite of them all. Encore beach club was just incredible and girls and club were just amazing. Things got a little hazy from here but we all got scattered around the city that night after Surrender with one of the guys finally getting in touch with that girl from Chicago. We all did well apart from one of the party who got kicked out for smacking everyone on the head with glow sticks despite 3-4 warnings. He has a girlfriend so didn't care.
Thursday 25th: We all managed to get back to MGM for midday and straight down to Wet republic. Got a Cabana for $400 minimum. Place was fairly quiet but met a couple of girls and had a great time. Was nice to have plenty of space to move around. Plan was to go to 1oak that night for bottle service but we were convinced this was not the thing to do and had to cancel. Sorry Leo de soza and just want to mention a massive thanks to David Chan who was always looking to help us out all week from 1OAK. Will definitely get in touch with him next time. Anyway we booked bottle service in Tryst instead. Went to Craft steak for dinner, was nice but far more formal than STK and didn't enjoy as much. Steve Aoki came in and had a table beside us as was due to play in Hakkasan that night. Not really a fan so we decided against Hakkasan and BS instead elsewhere. Gambled and drank @ Wynn and headed into Tryst. We had a fairly rubbish table outside but most of the lads enjoyed it. Service was pretty awful to be honest, pained me to give them tips. Service was about 10% of what it was at Marquee. Personally regretted not going to 1OAK but everyone else had a great time. I bailed @ 0200 as last 2 days were catching up with me. Some of us got lucky but best story had to be the guy that got kicked out the previous night. He got talking to some guy and he kept on asking him about music. Oblivious and very drunk he found himself in an area of Tryst completely sealed off chatting to the same guy. Hung out with his crew all night and only when a more sensible member of our party pointed out it was Calvin Harris did he realize who he had been talking to. Very nice guy apparently and luckily he didn't attack him with glowsticks.
Friday 26th: Awoke with some of our party feeling the strain. Straight down to Wet republic for day bed $750 minimum. It was the hot top 100 competition so the talent as expected was excellent. To be brutally honest we struggled to get through the minimum. Heading home early the previous night turned out to be a good move as 2 of our party were unable to function so 3 of us and a few girls had to drink through the minimum. Had a great time but delirium started to kick in and we were all feeling the strain by the end. Power nap badly needed as we had tickets for opening of Hakkasan that night. Headed down to casino weary and not really feeling great at all @ 2200. 3 Vodka redbulls later and some extra cash from blackjack we were back on it again. Arrived at hakkasan @ 2300 and it was packed outside. Waited in line with presales for 30-40 mins but time passed quickly with girls on display. What a club it was, incredible. Place was a little packed when Deadmau5 came on but we all agree we have never seen as many good looking girls in our lives as this night. Glowstick Calvin Harris guy got attacked by 2 asian guys who couldn't handle their drink and cut his ear with a glass. Blood everywhere and got taken to a special medical center in hakkasan (yes a medical center in a club). Being a doctor myself id question what they did for him: 5 aspirin and 2 bottles of beer being USA were obviously worried about litigation. It worked- he was delighted with the 2 beers but the aspirin meant his ear kept re-bleeding for rest of the night. Was great though, all the bouncers knew who he was so we could go anywhere in the club. Had an amazing time and left around 0500. Flew home that next day broken but some great memories. Will be back
