As our group is preparing for our summer trip, I figured now is as good a time to recap the most recent one from Feb. Myself and one other guy ended up meeting up with a fellow JC'er and his friends, and I learned just how quickly full RFB vegas vets seemingly get access to anything they want. It was epic.
Thursday PM
The flight was uneventful, the day went without any issues leading up. Usually I have a hard time sleeping before a vegas trip....not this time. Slept great night before and on plane ride in. I check in (Cosmo) and have a 1 bed fountain view suite. After greeting my host in the VIP lounge, I decided to hit the floor for some 21.
3 hours and 10 or so drinks in, I decide to color up. I lost my ass! Since my friend wasn't landing for a few hours, I got in the limo and headed to the Rhino.
Stayed for 90 mins or so, got tired of the vultures begging for money. Left out, back to Cosmo for some R/R and to get ready for the night shift. Nothing could have prepared me for what was coming... So my friend arrives and gets settled in his room. We head to STK for dinner (fantastic as always), and decide to hit up the high limit Talon club.
Upon arriving, we notice a table that looks inviting and sit down, sign out the marker and start playing. The table has 2 males, plus us 2, and a single girl all with action.
The guy with the biggest bankroll is getting destroyed. He must be down $50k in two shoes! We are down hundreds, the girl is up a bit and the other two seem close to even.
Just as the second shoe ends, this samoan guy goes over to one of the other guys (his name was Keith), and asks if he is ok. Keith is like "this table is boring and has no energy." As it turns out, the samoan guy is his personal security guard! This starts a conversation about why someone would need that, and he replies "I really don't need it, but it helps in navigating crowded clubs, and I never have to wait to take a piss". I knew this guy was going to be fun to hang with. It turns out he gambles regularly at the Cosmo, and since they have known him for years, they pretty much give him what he requests. Turned out to be a great guy to hang with for the weekend! We then stepped up our bets on the next shoe, and all of us go from being down to way up. After the great shoe, He and his boy are going to Hakk for a DF table with no min. He says we are invited and within 10 mins we are in the Cosmo limo to MGM. On the way, we realize we have played together in the high limit room at the same casino in Florida, and have the same hosts at both Cosmo and Seminole. As we walk up to the check in area outside centrifuge, his security guy is like "do you need me to lead" and I am like wtf? Keith just barely gives a nod lol. So he does, and as our host comes out to walk us in I notice the private security is ahead of the host, leading us to our table! At this point I am like who the hell is this guy lol. We get to the table, Keith says "we need a bottle of 42, a magnum of goose, and some non paid company". The server leaves, and another private security guy (same logo on his shirt) appears at the other end of the table! The first one disappears, and as the magnum and 42 arrive, the waitress begins to mix the drinks. She says how do we know Keith? We reply we really don't, and she goes "you are in for great time tonight. I always have his tables here" lol. At this point the mystery is building, the drinks are flowing, and then the guard returns with 8 middle eastern beauties to join us. We start chatting them up and they are all pretty great to chill with. We hit the DF (as the second guard led us to literally our own tiny section of the crowded DF) with half the group, and its on. The girls seem to like our vibe; as it turns out K likes Persian girls this hour lol..These girls were seriously all 10's.
After polishing off the initial bottles, We have a couple bottles of champagne as well as another mag, water and RB's on the way. The presentation was pretty great, the energy Hakk servers were coming with, the girls we were with...this is a great night. I finally get a chance to talk to K for a bit, and He's like "lets get some Russians over here please",
And the first guard sets off on his mission to the outside GA line lol. The second guard gives us four guys, and 3 of the girls, an escort to some private bathroom with no waiting. One of the girls is like "whose table is this, and why do you have your own security?" I explain to het that we are not real sure what's going on, but its been a great night so far lol. Back at the table the Russians have arrived, and upon seeing the blondes seated and drinking, one of the girls interested in K gets dramatic. That shit was hoe-larious! So Persian girl storms off, with like 5 of her friends, and we now have the United Nations at our DF spot. When I asked why she got so mad and left, my girl was like persians are posessive sometimes lol. K leans in and is like enjoy yourself tonight, the girls are friendly and theres more champagne on the way. The night becomes a rotation of various 8-10's at our table, and I watched our private security guy actually move a couple of guys out of their stalls so we could take a piss lol. That was a boss move. I still have no real idea who this guy is, until day 2.
