This is sheer detailed f**kery. What not to do in Vegas and who not to take. THE END. Let's proceed.
Trip Date: July 29th through August 3rd 2016
Hotel: Aria
Budget: 3-5k a person
Cast:
Tommy (Single w/ kids, turning 35 this weekend)
John (Married w/ kids, 33)
Me (Single, Birthday weekend)
So weeks before the trip we make plans to stay at the Aria. I even make reservations for us all to get rooms. Cool. I tell Tommy and John to make flight reservations. They procrastinate. I threaten them with the fact that if they don't make reservations today I'm going by myself. They buy their tickets. We are all set to go. Then maybe 2 weeks out John calls to say he can't go. Wife won't let him. So now it's Tommy and my Birthday weekend and one of our bros is not going. Also in the middle of this my new job cancelled all leave and instituted mandatory overtime. WTF. So I postponed the trip, then worked out a drug deal with my boss to have my birthday weekend off by working the 4th of July weekend and so I said f*** it...the trip is back on even if it's only us two. I plan the trip again but this time I kinda tailor it to Tommy since he's a Vegas Newbie. Big Mistake.
All he wants to see is T & A. I tell him that there's plenty of that in Vegas and start to set up some table service but no. He wants to hit a strip club. Every Night. So I oblige but I secretly am planning to skate out one of the nights (Saturday) and split some bottle service with another member from the forums here. Don't judge me. F*** you and the high horse you rode in on. Anyway we cancel one of the rooms and now we just have one room reservation. 2 nights comped through Mlife. 2 Nights reserved through Royal Caribbean. 1 Night reserved through Aria. 5 Nights total with Resort Fee and $300 Credit came to just north of $450. So here was our basic plan for the 5 nights.
