We are LVT-3 weeks and counting to my bachelor party so I'll set the stage, since I'm already beyond revved up for the social event of the year (other than my wedding, if my fiance reads this). This is a combined bachelor party for me and one of my best friends - we are in one another's weddings, the weddings are two weeks apart, and we love to rage, so we figured Why Not? We've named it MegaBach.
Preparations have been significant, and I have done most of the work, so I'm definitely glad that the big weekend is almost here. I set up a discounted room block at the Bellagio, and we have 9-12 rooms for each night to house the 31-34 guys who will be attending, plus an Executive Parlor Suite for getting the whole group together. I've never had a parlor suite but it looks awesome - 2500 square feet with a pool table, media room (including a huge L-shaped couch and 5 TVs), a wet bar, a dining room table and 2 bathrooms.
The groups is mostly early 30's (I'm 32). A handful are fathers. This is something like my 13th trip to LV, and I think I'm the most experienced by a good margin. Plenty of guys have been once or twice before, but we've definitely got some first-timers and also some first-time-doing-it-righters. We're all certainly on the downside of our partying careers, but we have plenty of experience and many are also way overdue for a really crazy weekend. Hilarity will ensue.

Friday:
- The Official MegaBach Party Plane (9 on board) arrives at 10AM local time on Friday. 2 guys will already be on the ground and everyone else will arrive over the course of the next 12 hours.
- Stretch Escalade pick up.
- Buy booze, shove it in our bags.
- Check in at Bellagio.
- Quick bite.
- Swim trunks on and head to MDC or, more likely, Rehab for some Sun, drinks and gambling. I've always been a fan of the gambling pavilion at Rehab, and figure that will be a good place to start to ease into the weekend.
- Friday night group dinner in private room at Fogo de Chao.
- After dinner, everyone back to the suite for some drinks.
- Later on, gamble in Bellagio and possibly hit up Hyde GA or last minute table.
- Get to bed at a reasonable hour, no later than 4AM. We're coming from the East Coast, so it's a long day. And gotta save that energy for...
- Up at 10AM for check in at Drai's at 11AM.
- One bungalow and 2 tables by the pool, or 2 bungalows. Assume that we'll be able to make the latter happen with a shake. This is the big event for the weekend, and should be a blast. If you're at Drai's, look for the 30 guys in matching MegaBach tanks wilding out like they just discovered alcohol and music for the first time.
- After pool, slam food, possibly watch the fight, then force myself to nap.
- Patio booth at Intrigue for a smaller group of the guys. Bobby Y set it up. Unfortunately for our budget we have to show up at 10PM, but there are worse things. Once we kill the bottles, we'll probably ask for a walk in to XS for Avicii and possibly play some blackjack in the pavilion.
- Group brunch 10AM-Noon in the private room at Mon Ami Gabi
- A bunch of guys leave right after brunch
- Wander the Strip, do some gambling, check out some of the touristy (Carnaval Court, Margaritaville) and dive (Stage Door, Casino Royale) bars.
- Probably nap some more.
- 11PM Nightswim with pre-sale tickets. Just go crazy in the pool until our old bodies give out on us.
