Great TR - would love to pick your brain about LDW pricing (I'm going during LDW 2013). Also, a very impressive strike rate with 5/6
The taco place is Tacos El Gordo I think - 3049 S Las Vegas Blvd
EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

No worries fire away!
LDW is top we had a great time. Prices I would say are about the same as usual, the only difference youre gonna face is that the demand for tables is higher so you cant go in low on minimum spends. If you want tables you gotta commit to some quite serious wedge or youll simply get bumped.
Saw this first hand at EBC. We arrived on the Sunday, about 11:50. They were almost at capacity and turning lots away. We had a $6000 cabana and only just got it. If we'd turned up 5 mins later they were ready to bump us. There was a group there with $20,000 cash hoping to secure a cabana and I saw a group of guys lose theirs as they arrived at 12:00 and the rich guys took it.
I'm trying to get a feel for what table prices will be over LDW. We've all got cash to spend; just want to know how much USD to take with us. Could you give me a rough run down [if you can remember] of your table mins for:
Wed (Surrender)
Thurs (Tryst)
Fri (Marquee)
Sat (XS)
Sat (Wet)
Sun (EBC)
Sun (Surrender)

Firstly - Elijah Hicks - For those that know him, he's a star - great host contact that worked some serious magic around our EBC cabana and all our nightclub entries. Partied with us each night and a great guy.
If you are on a bachelor party or anything with large groups of guys that involve last minute table changes from $8000 tables down to $1500 tables he's good. Also good for free entry to XS and queue jumps!
ok I'm good...I got a chance to read it lol!
Great TR. Makes me wanna trade 4th of July for LDW
Now if I can only not be ugly, fat and lose my southern Florida drawl
