MMA Conference Trip Report - Will Be Updated While There

So like last year, I am going to be in Vegas for an MMA business conference. And like last year, I am going to party my ass off. The trip starts on Thursday and ends Sunday. So for now, I will just leave you with the best image I have found so far for Vegas.

Ok made it. Let's get the pre-arrival stuff out of the way. Booked at Cosmo, then contacted ***** ******** (find him on the Hotels threads) and he got me a better deal. Saved me $200. Booked a limo through presidential. Arrived and went to the baggage claim like I always do. Only problem, there's 2 baggage claims now. And no signage that I needed to go to the other one. Crazy.

So we get in a shuttle and head over to my baggage claim. Meet limo driver and we get a tour of the new terminal. Why? Because some fricking idiot decided that the cabs should be IN FRONT of the limos and to block the THREE CROSSWALKS! I had to walk around the taxi line which was crazy.

So lesson - find out which terminal you are in. If it is 3, be prepared to walk if you got a limo. Not the limo drivers fault either.

Head on over to CVS and get some gatorade and snacks. Get to cosmo and we seriously had to wait 30+ minutes just to check in. I tip the guy $20 and he moves us from a standard city room to a city room terrace. 200 more feet, balcony and 55th floor. West end, not East, but hey can't win them all.

Now just getting ready, going to get some food and then over to Moon for our first night.

Ok let's see how much of yesterday I can remember. We head down to grab some grub from the Chinese & Mexican place here at cosmo. Two tacos then onto some gambling. Hit up roulette and I wasn't winning, but my buddy was. We then head over to Let it Ride.

I rocked this game... sort of. So I didn't win much on the "let it ride" portion but I did hit the 3 card bonus a lot. I hit a flush, a straight flush, and a mini royal flush. Then we head over to Moon, but it wasn't open yet. So I played Baccarat and won another $80. Nice.

We get to Moon with Phil Loomis and we got one of the best tables. The only problem - the club was dead. I tried to get people to shuffle when Party Rock came on but most were being wall flowers. Then Gangnam Style came on, that was fun. We were struggling to give away our Vodka at the end. We gave some out and then left.

Then we head over to Rhino. Both of us find a girl, get a nice 30 minute dance. My buddy of course fell in love with his girl. Crazy thing was we made sure to only bring a specific amount of cash and no credit cards to the Rhino. When we were leaving, my buddy fell in love with two other girls and he told them he only had $100 but wanted dances from both of them at the same time. They made him show them the cash first, he got his dance and then we left.

Came home, I puked, then crashed. Woke up like 5 hours later due to some guy wanting to fix something in the room. I told him to go away. Got some breakfast, but I was still drunk. I left and went shopping, buddy went back to sleep. Walking around, feeling better. Gambled a bit, lost a little bit and then came back to the room to sleep a bit before tonight's craziness of The Act.
