Oct. 13, 2012 Birthdays, Ginuwine performance!
It all starts with us rolling into Luxor to see a drunk dude being treated by the fire department. We get our stuff and head to check in. Check-in is not super fast but it's saturday so it was to be expected. The room I booked this time was in the tower not the pyramid. I have to say this the tower rooms are nice! They are newer and slightly bigger. We had a two queen room and the view of the mountains, which was nice. The only downside that I can see some people saying is the tower is farther from a lot of the action. The area is quieter though which I liked. After checking out the room we go grab some little sandwich snacks from the little convenience store. I know it was overpriced but dinner wasn't until 7 and we wanted a snack without much walking. Then it's back up to the room for a little relaxtion.
Our little nap time ran later then expected so we rushed to get ready so we could meet the birthday girls and head over to Dicks Last Resort for dinner. I have never eaten here before but everyone else had and that's what the birthday girls wanted so that is what they got. It was a pretty fun atmosphere. I couldn't believe this was a place where they treat you bad on purpose! Food was normal nothing special. I had the "steak sammich". While waiting for table we decided to use these two for one drink slips that we snagged walking to dicks. Of course we did tequila shots. Some how midgets come up in conversation and next thing I know I have a hat that said "Into midget porn". Of course we decided to wear our paper hats as we went back to the room to relax a little before getting ready for LAX.
Before we know it, we get ready then run over to the birthday girls room to have some cake. They have been drinking while in the room while we relaxed in ours. Now time to hit up LAX. Thanks so much to Rebeccah Gannon for setting up the table. Some people ended up joining our party making our 1 bottle to 2 bottles of vodka and they had no problem accomodating. We were told to arrive at 10pm as Ginuwine was celebrating his birthday it was a saturday. Glad we did get there early it got packed fast and the club wasnt even open yet. After a little wait to be expected, we are in. Liked our location across from dj with dance floor in front of us. Had a blast dancing. Eventually Ginuwine got his cake and then he starting performing. Best one was "In Those Jeans", love that song. We end up staying until close to closing losing some people as the night went on. I stumble back to my room and pass out. Next thing I know it's time to get up. I actually don't feel as bad since I actually kept water in me all day and night. We check out then go over to Blizz. Had some crepes and a fruit smoothie. Now it was just a matter of going home. The birthday girls enjoyed their birthday and everyone had a great time. LAX is a great time that's for sure.
