Hi guys. My husband and I went to Vegas Sept. 19-24, stayed at Cosmo. We are 31 and 34. Will post each day, hopefully getting most of the details right.
Wednesday: Arrive in Vegas around 3:30pm, get rental car from Hertz. No problems with rental or flight.
Arrive at Cosmo around 4:30ish. We had booked a Terrace Suite using the LNF rate. Did a $50 sand. with the check in guy. Didn't want a better room, so he gave us 59th floor, awesome view of the fountains, a free bottle of champagne and immediate room availabilty. Worth the $50 to me.
Dinner was at Lavo. We split the Kobe meatball, chicken marsala and fried oreos. Also had a couple of drinks. The meatball and the oreos were awesome, the marsala was just ok.
Thursday:
Hoover Dam in the AM. Got the Dam tour and liked being able to see the inner level of the dam.
After the Dam we stopped by In-N-Out burger. First time here, and we LOVED it. Ordered off the "secret" menu, we will def. be going here again.
Afternoon was relaxing by the bamboo pool and having a couple of drinks. Dinner was Gordon Ramsey Steak. I had the beef wellington and he had the short ribs. Didn't try his food, but my wellington was awesome! Side note: I got a drink called the red lion, a little strong tasting for my taste, but two would get you drunk.
After dinner we went to see Fantasy at the Luxor. This show was much better than I expected. Very sexy and entertaining! The guy was so funny (don't remember his name), and the girls were hot.
Friday was a late sleeping day for me. J got up and made our sports bets, then it was off to Holsteins for lunch. I had the crispy pork sliders and he had the longhorn burger. We split a cereal milkshake and I got a free margarita for checking in on foursquare.
Blvd pool for the afternoon, had a black and tan sorbet thing from the place by the pool, really yummy. That and a mojito and I was good for the afternoon.
