Aug24-26 EPIC weekend! Marquee, XS, Paris Hilton and alot of drinking!

Its 1am and I just got in the house 20min ago after a 4hr drive back from Vegas. I am just so excited to write this up since this is something I may never experience in my Vegas outings ever again. My friends and I are still in awe of how we could ever top this weekend and make our next trip to not fall short of this past weekends experience.

We're usually in Vegas every 4 weeks so we can only handle a weekend at a time and just your average night at the club most of the time. Into the music more than the drinking lately so the lineups are what keeps us coming back. We're not big ballers that would do tables every time. LOL

We had been going out to LA clubs alot since EDC this past June. Keeping up with who's DJing at which club. We've been itching for Vegas badly after a couple good club nights earlier in Aug. Soonest we could go Vegas was this weekend since I had been on Vacation in Hawaii mid Aug. We usually do Vegas with the boys on my bday but it fell on the time I had been in Hawaii so the Vegas weekend ended up falling on this weekends date. So I check up the DJ lineup at all the clubs this weekend and was a litte disappointed on who was in town for Marquee, XS and Surrender. They werent the big names that we were into at the moment.

Marquee had Drek Martinez and Dash Berlin. XS had Morgan Page and No_ID. Surrender had LiL Jon and Zeds Ded. Basically took Surrender out of the picture since wasnt fan of Zeds dead and already seen Lil Jon dj before and its whatever. So we decided on Morgan Page on Friday at XS and Dash Berlin at Marquee on Saturday.

Having experienced not getting in the club on a busy night or having to end up spending $100-150 a person to get in, we got pre-sale for XS at $30 each for Morgan Page. And for Marquee, I hit up Noahram(here on the forums) to see what he can do for us this weekend. I've met Noah a few times and he's helped us get on GL many times in the past. I have also passed out his number for people needing contact on getting on GL or tables and he's taken cared of them. So I asked what he recommended for us to do. He hooked it up for 3 of us on a GL and rest of the guys did the pre-sale for $70. Anything Marquee or Tao, hit this guy up. If you have questions about other clubs, I'm sure he can help refer to someone else that he may work well with in the LV club scene. Awesome guy to deal with!

So now were set in where we are going. Good to have it all planned as it sucks waiting in line and not being sure to get in a club. We head out from LA at noon and got in town around 5pm. Been a super long week and we had been looking forward to Vegas all week. Finally its here. haha.

We gambled some roulette and blackjack for a bit and had dinner before picking up our buddy who flew in from San Diego at 9pm. Plenty of time to get back to Aria and get ready before heading out to XS at 11.

Sorry for the late update on the continuation of the trip. Was so tired today I slept til afternoon and pretty much ate a bunch of times to recover from all the lack of nutrients.

So we get back to Aria, get dressed and pregamed for about 45min. Took a bunch of shots and drinks before heading out to XS around 11. We did the $30 presale since we didnt wanna deal with the lines of General Admission and we werent getting a table anyway. Line was quick for presale. I would say the Gen Admission line was about 1hr long. It does move fast but theres just alot of people already in line at 11pm. Presale only took about 10-15min at most.

We head outside first and it was PACKED already at 11:30. I didnt think this weekend was going to be this busy. We grabbed our first round at the bar and head to the dancefloor. By that time, alky started to kick in and we were raging on the dancefloor til 2am. We all lost track of time just moving around and dancing with a bunch of different girls. I can barely remember all their faces but one of the more memorable ones was this 5ft latina body builder chick. It was all a blur but all my friends keep saying is it looked like she was gonna break me in half haha.

Morgan Page's set was siiick. I've never seen him DJ but he played to the crowd really well. Heard some Bingo Players, SHM, Sandro Silva, Porter Robinson, and alot of the popular tracks right now. One of the best nights at XS that I've ever had.

Ended up finishing the night around 4am and knocked out after an hour of gambling at our hotel at Aria.

Dang work is kickin my ass this week. Im finally almost recovered. Eating solids already as of yesterday. Let me continue. I've only wrote about Friday.. Saturday night is our Marquee party fest for 9hrs.

I know most of you do a dayclub during your stays, but we just cant hang like that these days. LOL. We're usually waking up at 11, getting ready by 1-2 to get out of the room to eat lunch by 3. We hit up Wicked Spoon this trip just to try it again. If you've been there, its the usual stuff. Nothing different from the last 6months.

After lunch, we get food coma so its back to the room to take a nap. haha. Couple of us stayed at the Casino for a couple hours and we were all back in the rooms by 7. Decided to eat at Al's Oyster Bar at Orleans before getting ready for Marquee that night. The 2 well known oyster places from what I know is this place at Orleans and the place at Southpoint. From my experience I think the Southpoint Oyster bar is way better. I wasnt that satisfied with the quality here but it was decent, just not something I would rave about.

4 of us guys stayed at Aria and the other group of 4 homies were at MGM. We all meet up at our room in Aria for a pregame around 9:30. Noah(Noahram) hits me up and tells me to get to Marquee early as possible, around 9ish. A bit earlier than we're used to but he's the man to listen to so we get our drinks on and start walking to Cosmo.

3 of us are on Noah's guestlist and 3 of the other guys bought pre-sale earlier in the day at the Box Office. The 2 other guys, which I dont know too well, had their own hook up so we just let them do their thing. As soon as we get there around 9:45, the table line was already super packed. I dont think I see the table line that busy that often. It was way more people than the regular lines. As I walk by the table line, my cousin's husband from Canada sees me and we say our wassups. Crazy to see him over here.. Totally unexpected. I grab his number to meet up later inside. Unfortunately their table was given away at 10pm and they couldnt get another one. They end up heading to XS right after that. Crazy how table reservations can get super busy and so theres that chance that you wont even get in with a table reserv. So keep that in mind guys.

So the 3 of us head to the guestlist line and it takes about 5 to get to the cashier area. Another 5-10min to get through the elevator line. The other 3 guys who had pre-sales headed to the other floor where the Pre-sale entrance is and they were in within 20min also. 2 of our other friends had their own agenda so they got in on their own and we only saw them once the whole night.

It wasnt even 11pm yet and the place was PACKED! For an end of Aug weekend, with no major holiday or happenings I was surprised. I've been during 4th July weekend and late July weekend and it wasnt this packed. So all the homies meet up by the Cloud Bar to get our first drink. I text Noahram to meet up real quick but he wasnt able to. So we head down to the main floor. Keidy's set was siiick. All the Marquee resident DJs and pre-main DJs always have good sets. So we're on the dancefloor until midnight and head back out to the Cloud Bar. We meet up the rest of our crew who were out scouting for girls. Finally got to see Noah as I always make a point to meet up with him everytime I'm at Marquee. We chill at the Cloud Bar area until a few minutes before 1am and we head back to the main floor.

By that time, the ring of death was in effect. That hallway was super packed! It took 5min just to get from the middle bar to each end where the exit is. The 3 of us wanted to get on the dancefloor so one of our buddies, who is like our personal bodyguard, tells security we wanted to get in. He lets us in but keeps everyone back and not enter the dancefloor. Basically most of the night is your typical night at the club. Dancing with bunch of different girls for the next 3 hours. Jump up and down when it hits a siick drop and meet girls along the way. And going back and forth to the bar of course. I gotta say Dash Berlin is one of my favorite DJs to see. He's such an animated DJ that it makes it better and not boring to watch him DJ. Looking forward to his next visit to Vegas, thats for sure.

So we thought this was your typical night out. By 4am, we were winding down, drinking water and ready to leave. But all of a sudden all the servers(about 12-15 of them) start bringing out bottles to all the tables. The lights flash Happy Bday Noah. It wasnt Noahram from here but some other Noah. Didnt know who it was til later. But anyway, They first bring out Patron and handed them to the tables and some ended up to people on the dancefloor. We're there chillin, watching it all as the music stops and comes back on. Another round comes and this time its all Cristal. Theres probably 15-20 bottles each time they come around. We ended up getting a couple bottles of Cristal and next thing you know, we're drinking it straight out the bottle. More rounds come out... more Patron. Then boxes and boxes of VOSS water are handed out.

By this time I'm pretty good already. I've been walking around while girls standing on the platforms were pouring Grey Goose and Cristal into all our mouths. I dont even remember the time by this point. There must have been only 300 or so people left by this time. The bottles kept coming, more Cristal. At one point Paris Hilton is wearing shades and singing on top of the platform by the tables. I can't remember the song though. haha. After Cristal was passed around, Ace of Spades started coming out. Then they start playing Champagne Showers by LMFAO. The servers were all spraying champagne all over each other and other people. Everyone was having a blast. How often do you see a club full of people spraying $2000-3000 champagne bottles everywhere. I dont know how it happened but we ended up with few bottles of Cristal and a 1.5L bottle of Ace of Spades Rose Brut, Ciroc, Grey Goose, 4 Bottles Patron, 2 bottles Gran Patron and I dont know what else. I remember at one point I had a Ciroc in one hand and Cristal on the other. I was pouring drinks into peoples mouths for a good hour while swigging on each bottle at the same time.

We had a blast. Ended up hanging out with a couple people from Toronto and drinking with them. There was a guy next to us at a table with some hot ass wife. He was older and looked like a musician or something. I was so trashed I ended up kicking it with them for a bit and dancing with a couple of the girls that was in their group as they were pouring Cristal in my mouth every so often. haha.

I honestly dont remember all that happened in the last couple hours but we were in Marquee from 10:30pm til 7:30am. We got back to our room in Aria at around 8am. I later found out the bday celebrant was Noah Tepperberg, co-owner of Marquee and Tao. Thanks Noah Tepperberg and Noahram for a great bday weekend. This was a night that would be hard to top.

Gotta give it up to the staff at Marquee. Security guys are professional and weren't dicks about us having some drunken fun. They were all pretty calm and collected. Did their job well by putting away all empty glass bottles when necessary. The servers/wait staff are attentive and were cool to party with everyone else while doing what they needed to at the same time. The guys at the elevator and everyone else acted all calm and accommodating considering its already almost 8am and they have been there for hours.

Waking up the next morning, we were sitting in our hotel room at Aria pondering WTH just happened. We ended up not finishing the Ace of Spades 1.5L and brought it back to our room. How we brought it out, dont ask me, I dont remember. haha.

We go to Vegas on a monthly basis the last 24 months and many times of course before that. We've never had something like this happen. We've had memorable nights but damn, a night with champagne showers at 7am is just crazy. All we could think of is how to ever top this weekend. For sure we'll be in Vegas and Marquee many more times in the upcoming months. We're just trying to figure out how to make the next one good and not seem so boring after this past weekend.

We were so tired, we couldnt go far and ended up eating at Skybox at Aria. My review on that place is that it sucks. Basically the food looks like it could be out of a can or frozen food section. I would pass and walk over to Monte Carlo for a Subway or Sbarro Pizza instead. Being Platinum Mlife, we requested a super late check out of 6pm. They were able to grant it and we gambled for a bit and rested the last couple hours before we had to pack up and leave. Grabbed some Sonic drive-in, gassed up and headed back to Cali at around 7pm.

That's awesome that you got to take a 1.5L Ace of Spades with you! Yeah I left right before all the craziness lol. There's 3 Noah's basically in Vegas. Noah Teppenberg - Managing Partner and co-owner of Tao Group, Noah Auspitz the independent promoter/host, and myself (Noah @ Marquee is how most know me). See you next time for sure! In my tired state at 4am, I was thinking... is our Noah buying bottles for everyone? I was like nah, its not his bday is it? LOL.

The music did stop for awhile since they kept talking in the mic about Noah T's Bday. They played a bunch of LMFAO for awhile and that was a bit thrown off from the EDM they had been playing all night long. But the music was appropriate since they were pushing the vibe of Champagne Showers to everyone.

How often do you ever see a whole club spraying Cristal and Ace of Spades all over each other. You see groups of people in a table doing it once in a while but not the whole club. LOL. the sight was unreal. Girls pouring drinks in everyones mouths. Girls full on soaked with champagne. Once in a lifetime experience thats for sure.

Ya you're right Chuck. I may have to be at Marquee mid to late Aug next year again.
