  • July 7th-9th: We are going to die

This trip was a short one for me because I had to meet my three friends on Saturday, whereas they were in Vegas since the 4th. They are all my friends, but had not met each other. Needless to say, they got along very well. Here are some highlights from their time together: one friend brought home 4 women (5 some?), one friend brought home three trannys and when he found out he ran away and was found in the lobby of Aria (he was staying at Encore), and they had bottle service at Marquee, which they were all blacked out for.

Saturday: I arrive at the Cosmo and get put in a Terrace Studio with two queens overlooking the fountain on the 43rd floor. Not bad. Set the combo to my safe and it won't open. I spend the next hour waiting for security/drinking scotch. Bad choice. My buddies come over and we begin pregaming for Hyde. They tell me about all the crazy stuff they have done and how I need to catch up. We arrive at Hyde with a solid buzz and Anthony greets us at the door. We arrive fairly early (10:30) and get seated at a smaller table central to the patio. The view is really priceless. One of my friends (who was already blacked out) just started crying about how pretty it was. We begin drinking and somehow I get seperated for the group and end up going up to a girl's hotel room. After a nice time together, she tells me she is engaged. I immediately go back down to Hyde and need to shake off what I just did. More shots! B.O.B. comes on and does a short set, but he really had the crowd going. After his performance, the dance floor heats up and the party gets crazier. Some confetti was dropped and I thought that the new girl I was with would think it was funny if I ate it. She must have had downs because she did and we ended up in the couch by the bathroom. My group finds me and the two buddies from Seattle claim that Hyde had better looking girls than Marquee and they wanted to die there (more on that later). Our security guard, Dana, did a great job of keeping bottle rats out of our table/sending girls to my newly single friend. Our server, Joe, and waitress, Emily, were really attentive and exceeded our expectations. At around 3, my new girl leaves and texts me to come up to her room. I pay the bill and leave my friends. I really enjoyed the vibe at Hyde. It was a high energy place stacked with hotties. As I left, I felt really content and thought that the night couldn't go better, but...

I get a phone call on my cell at 6 from Cosmo security telling me I need to come to the lobby ASAP. As I get up, my new girl tells me that she has a boyfriend, right as I am about to go. I start to feel bad...but it's Vegas. But then it hits me, my friend is staying at the Encore. Why is he at my hotel? So I go to the Cosmo, where they tell me that they found my friend sleeping in one of the shoes and that when security told him to get out, he took his pants down. Apparently, I am his ICE contact and he was having an "emergency." He didn't defecate on the hotel lobby, so I decided that he needed to stay with me for our last night because he clearly needed a chaperone. More on Sunday later, I am currently trying to not vomit at work.

Fucking dying. I was reading this TR in my office with the door open and got to this part and started openly LOL'ing uncontrollably. My team probably thinks I've lost my mind..... Can't wait for more. And thanks for including all the dirty deets, I left my TR a little clean to protect the presumed guilty/innocent!

Alright, I wanted to wait to talk about Sunday and ask my friends if they can remember what happens. The Seattle Friends left Hyde at 2:45ish. They were staying at Bally's, but of course they did not end up at Bally's. They somehow ended up in Spring Valley. We'll never know how it happened, but it did. They are only 22 and still carry around their fake ids. Somehow (probably frat logic), they switched their real ids for their old fake ids and walked out on the paying their bills once they woke up and the handcuffs were taken off. I applaud them for this tricky maneuver, but they were pretty much out of commission for Marquee Day Club. I went with Cinderella and we had a great time. Definitely going to book a couch there next time and with a table at Marquee that night. Lots of Asian girls, which was nice and an alarming number of girls who were trying to pretend they didn't have boyfriends, but it was a holiday weekend. We ended up leaving and going to the Bamboo or Boulevard Pool (don't remember) and getting 8 pitchers with two girls (allegedly, I wasn't really aware of anything at this point). I start regaining consciousness and we made our way back to my room and while my friend is seducing his target, I decide that the most romantic spot would be the little chair on the balcony. Instead of being Rico Suave, I projectile vomit off the balcony, with the backwind carrying the puke right back to the glass protector. Some of it dried, some of it went directly onto the balcony below us, but we powered through that moment because Vegas is Vegas. Thanks Crest/Listerine, number 1 wingman. More on Sunday night later, still feel like I'm going to die.

Dana was our security guard at Hyde too. That dude is intimidating as hell and was happy he was watching my table rather than trying to keep me out.

Dana is the man, he was watching like 8 tables too. Were you in the center patio by the fountain?

First off, big thanks to ***** Sweet. I cancelled our table at Vanity at Sunday (while I was still drunk in the morning, I guess I have a motherly instinct when I get smashed) because my friends were in the hospital. Well, they make their way to my room at around 5 and just promptly ruin any chance we have of bringing our current girls out (my friend asked my girl to her face, "how much did you cost?"). With that said, I had bought XS presales as a backup. I honestly did not want to go because I was going through a major hangover, but we polished off a bottle of Tito's (best vodka, hands down) and rallied. We got to XS at around 11:30 and were stuck in the General Admission line. Side note: what is this back of the line, presale shit? So we get in and met up with two girls from the previous night (both of them had boyfriends, I know. I'm like Midas, every girl I touch has a boyfriend or I'm ugly/creepy). They convince us that we screwed up by not bringing swimsuits. My buddy (cinderella in his shoe) is fat, so I just wanted to get his back. Seeing that they are girls, they easily convince us to go buy 50 dollar trunks at the store. That plus the 400 dollars in drink we racked up, I think we should have tried for a 1 bottle minimum. We jump in the pool and its crazy. Otto Knows was surprisngly good and really had the crowd going. The pool was full of dudes rolling, which was a funny site to see. If anyone is curious as to who I am, I was the guy who was diving under inflatables and flipping them over with people in it. Anyway, the night starts to die down at around 3. We run into the girls from the Wynn (where I rested my head the night before) and they start a giant girl fight outside of the towel rack. Now, if we had bottle service, this would have been funny. But watching 3 security guards run at you is not. God must have been with me because they took down the girls from the night before and led us back to the party. It was a weird encounter, but nonetheless it was awesome. We finished the night sitting down on the planterbox/stone ledges and having some drinks. I got the great idea to use the bathroom stall with my female companion. A security guard became aware of this and tried to open the door for a solid 20 minutes. It was a pretty intense encounter and he escorted us out, but didn't take down my id or anything, so hopefully I can go back to XS. We went back to the Cosmo where I woke up to a note that says please don't tell my boyfriend. I shrugged my shoulders and secured a 2pm checkout. My buddy and I went to the MDC to relax, which was a terrible idea and we ended up barely making our flight back home (and he also projectile vomited in the taxi). All in all, GREAT trip and I can't wait for next year. (Also, shout out again to ***** Sweet for checking up on our health the next day)

Yep, that's exactly where I was.
