Got home last night from an absolute bender. I'm actually feeling pretty good, considering the damage we did. I'll work on a full TR soon, but now it's off to the second of three 4th of July parties in Seattle! Stay tuned!!
This is going to be a long one, so feel free to skip ahead. Ok, here we go: the official June 30-July 3 Trip Report, YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!
THE SET-UP: as much as I would like to get out to Vegas more often, it has become a single go big or go home trip each year. We sent emails around early in the year to sort out dates, agendas, travel, and the roster. Eventually we settled on Saturday, June 30-Tuesday, July 3, with July 4 as a day of recovery/reduced partying before returning to work. We recruited the guys and ended up having 4 that were game: me, Zach (bartender that just graduated with Masters in Sports Management), Adam (real estate agent that is a non-competing bodybuilder on the side and has the deepest voice of anyone ever, so keep that in mind on his quotes), and Joe (lawyer and very studly metrosexual, no homo). I actually talked Joe into joining the trip on June 22 and he got booked his flight only one week before for June 30-July 2, going straight to the office from the airport.
SATURDAY: I had Zach come over Friday night to crash on the couch, and he got there around 11:00 pm. Our flight was 6:00 am, so the alarm went off at 4:00 am, but I only really got about an hour of sleep from the excitement. We headed to the airport and met Adam with a Predator Handshake (YOU SON OF A BITCH!!) at SEA at 4:30 am to load up my bag with all the liquids (2 bottles of vodka and sunscreen), before checking it. While I was checking the bag, Adam found somebody's wallet, FULL of cash, and turned it in - karma officially sorted out for the weekend. Security was uneventful and we made it to our gate no problem. On the plane, this group of cute Asian girls was struggling with their bags, so I threw them all into overhead for them. The guy behind me joked, "I've got some luggage you can help with." My response: "You're not cute enough." The girls got a kick out of that and we chatted for a bit of the flight. Landed in Vegas, bag was already at the carousel, met up with Joe and headed to the taxi line. Cue first big win of the trip: there was NO LINE! We cruised over to the Cosmo (it's about 9:00 am at this point) and I'm thinking checking in now might be a long shot. As we walk up to the desk, I judge every single employee and pick the one that looks like a cool dude. Walk up, throw a $30 sandwich, and he informs us that our room isn't ready, but there is a 1 bedroom suite and he'll throw in a free rollaway, and give us keys now - perfect and big win #2! The room was great and we get unpacked, relax for a few, and pour the first drinks of the trip - Sugar Free Rockstars and vodka. We also each drink a NOHO. Then off we go to Marquee Dayclub to start the trip of a lifetime. Also, on the way to MDC, Zach throws $100 on black and hits, while I, on the table over, throw $50 on red and hit - nice! Walking up to Marquee, it's early so there is literally not one person in line. We had a $1000 min daybed sorted out, so we cruised right in and got set up.
The pool is smaller (bigger than Tao Beach, but much smaller than EBC), but REALLY nice. The service was great too. Shout out to the entire staff there. We had the daybed near the tiny pool that was closest to the DJ booth. We got it started with 1 bottle of Belvedere, 6 Sugar Free Redbulls (SFRB from here on out), and 6 waters. FYI - when paying cash, a $1000 min comes out to exactly $1380 at MDC with taxes and auto grat, which we knew and planned for. From here, we just raged our faces off.
Cedric Gervais played, which was awesome. I also know that we ordered like 3 food items, which I had one half of a wrap and gave my fries to some girls. I also know we ordered some beers and like 3-4 pitchers of Frozen Red Bull and Frozen Lemonade. Joe also went to the bar and dropped another $400 on shots that none of us other guys did any of, so who knows how he was able to do that kind of damage.
Adam took a girl back to the room, smashed her out, and came back looking for more before we even knew he had left. By the end of the day, Joe had traded his hat and sunglasses for some girls' big ass sun hat, lost his shoes, and lost his iPhone.
I also lost my GoPro camera, and don't remember leaving the pool or getting back to the room. Ended up passing out on the couch for a bit and then moving to the bed. I easily could have been down for the count, but the boys brought me back a Holstein's burger, which I smashed out. Fell back asleep and woke up at 9:00 pm to get ready for Haze.
We walked over to Haze and got right in. We had a B1G1 ready to go and got put at a table right behind the DJ booth. Location was good for what we were spending, but not the best by any means. The club was cool, but we were all so dead that it was a chore to get back into drinking. It took us all night to sink the 2 bottles and that was even with sharing a bit with girls. Later in the night there was some sort of aerial show and all these costumed characters running around like Superman and Mickey Mouse shooting off the air guns, which was fun. But even with all that, we left at like 2:30 am and headed back to the Cosmo. Did a touch of gambling on the way to the room with no significant wins or losses. This was by far the tamest night of the trip.

SUNDAY: Woke up around 10:00 am and rallied the boys. Enough of this Amateur shit, it's time to go pro: Encore Beach Club with Calvin Harris today! Even though we were all a bit hungover, we grabbed a cab and headed for Encore, by 11:30-ish. Walked up to EBC by 12:00 pm and found a fairly long line for tables with GA being shorter. I pulled out my phone and texted Bryce, who ended up walking us right to the front, where the wait was much shorter. Once we got in, I found out that you are required to check any bags at a fee of $20. I had a messenger bag that was empty that I had planned to just throw our shit into at the table that I had to check. Oh well. We got walked over to our table and seated in the shaded section that is near the stage and got our drinks ordered: 1 bottle Belvedere, 6 SFRB, 6 waters, 6 Coors Lights. We start sinking some drinks and we take a walk around the pool. We get to the far end and I head into the water. I accidently step down on the base of the handrail underwater and feel a sharp pain; I reach down and feel a big cut in my foot. Luckily it wasn't bleeding in the water yet, so no pool evac. I headed over to first aid, got cleaned up and bandaged. Honestly, a couple stiches could have done some good but I'm not going to leave EBC when it's 108 degrees and going off, so I keep the bandage tight, stay out of the water for the day, and push it to the limit. EBC was going off, and we completely tore the doors off.
Adam gave some bachelorette a lap dance in order to win her sailor captain hat. His words to describe it: "So I put her on the lily pad, started with some basic moves that just mashed my balls into her face!!" Later in the day we met some Canadian girls and invited them back to the table.
Or should I say, picked up some Canadian girls..... "You know the best way to pick up chicks?? Lift with your legs!!!"
They admitted later that they thought Joe was gay at first until he had groped his way through half of them in matter of minutes. We got up into the crowd for a bit for Calvin (amazing performance, btw), but after about 5 tracks we went and refilled drinks and returned real quick to catch the end.
We ended up shutting EBC down. The Canadian girls were staying at Aria, so we split a limo back to city center. Headed up to the room and then it was off to Secret Pizza. Ordered a large and a couple pints and headed back to the room. We were all so hungry, the 4 of us took the whole pie down in under 10 minutes. We rested for a few, watched some sports, and kept the drinking going in the room while getting ready for the night.
Around 10:00 pm, we rallied the troops again and it was off to XS for Nightswim with Manufactured Superstars. When we planned the trip, we were going to wear swimwear, but since I had gashed open my foot in the pool earlier, we opted for jeans and button ups. We got checked in pretty quick and rolled up to the cabana. The cabana was one of the upstairs ones, which provided a great view of the whole outdoor area. Generally, this might not have been as fun, but we sent the Aceman (aka Adam) out to recruit, so it was all good. We got the "special" which ended up being Ketel One and Moet for $375. The Moet was some summer edition whatever nonsense and the waitress was serving it on ice. Whatever, chick, vodka for me! We ended up ordering some other stuff later - beers and whatnot. Met up with my boy Sam from Seattle (ran into him on the plane) and a few of us just rolled around the downstairs for a while, checking out the scene. Poor Joe had a flight out at 6:00 am the next morning, but this is how much of a trooper he is: stopped drinking at 2:00 am, drank water til 4:00 am, said our good byes and he went to the room, grabbed his bag, to the airport, flew home, and went straight to work in the outfit he wore to the club, just tucked in and with a tie on. Fucking STUD! The rest of us stayed at XS til like 6:00 or something then headed out to the cab line. Ended up being a pretty short line and 2 of us ended up in a cab with some Aussie guy named Jose and the other 1 of us ended up with 2 random blondes (aka The Blontourage). Had breakfast as a group at The Henry and ended up finally crashing at like 9:00 am.

MONDAY: We were all hurting. Joe was gone. But it was time to do it again. We actually connected with another Beach Club host (I'm not going to use all their names because I don't know if they want me to) and he was hosting his brother's bachelor party at Marquee Dayclub and Nightclub all day Monday with an attached 3 story Bungalow. He was like, "I heard you guys are cool, so if you want to do it up with us, you're welcome." Uhh, yes, of course. It was all high powered industry people and then us 3 randoms from Seattle. I will never get over the fact that they were so welcoming and treated us just like friends or family. In fact, over the next 18 hours, we would become friends and family with all of them. Anyways, we rally up and hit Marquee Dayclub at 1:30 with just room keys. We get in and The Crew isn't there yet, so we just say fuck it and grab the same daybed as Saturday. It was only a $200 min, but we ended up just doing our "Normal Order" - Belv, SFRB, water - and once again banged it out.
The Crew rolled in at like 2:30 and had a cabana so we joined up with them and stayed at the cabana for the day. Unfortunately, when we moved, I left my ID with our waitress and didn't have it for later. Luckily it's not my first rodeo, so I had my Passport for that night.
We went and took a tour of the Bungalow and I have never seen anything like it: massive living room, kitchen, and bathroom on bottom floor with full access directly in and out of the dayclub. Second floor had a huge master suite with bathroom and shower for ten, another bedroom/bathroom, and sitting area. Third floor and 2 huge decks - 1 with a hot tub overlooking dayclub, the other larger one with a big lounge area overlooking the Bellagio fountains. This place was unreal. The Crew had it stocked with bottles of Ketel One and Jamison plus tons of Red Bull and Cranberry Juice by the case. Adam decided he was the tour guide and took everyone on a tour later in the day: "Ok, so we have multiple stations set up. You got your Blowjob Station right here. Your Anal Station upstairs. And in that room with the big shower: the Gangbang Arena!" Haha, kid cracks me up. Back at the cabana, the Blontourage has shown up, but these chicks are acting straight retarded, so we finally just act like dicks to them til they leave, kinda mean, I know, but this is Vegas - put up or shut up. After we wrap up at the cabana, we head over to the Bungalow for some secret pizza (delivered by the butlers) and a couple drinks. We head off to the room for a quick rest and to get ready for meeting up with The Crew again for the night party. Have some drinks in the room, but it's taking me a few minutes to get it going, haha.
We get our acts together and meet up at 11:00 pm outside Marquee for a group walk-in. There are about 40 of us and we all skip the line, take both elevators, and enter Marquee with some serious WOMP WOMP as Tommy Trash was headlining. We walk through the club and we are back to the same cabana as during the day. We start partying and eventually hop over to the Bungalow and just rage there.
I honestly wish I had spent a bit more time in Marquee, but I can do that anytime, it's not every night you can go hard and make new friends in a place like we were at. Around 2:00 am, it's decided that we're all going to the strip club. Honestly, I would have rather stayed at Marquee, but these guys had invited us, as strangers, to the bachelor party, I wasn't about to say no to anything. So we grabbed one of the big Sapphire party busses and loaded up. 3 random guys not with our group got on too and I'm pretty sure they were terrified, as we were raging the entire ride, DJing the system ourselves at full audio level (those systems in those busses bang, btw). So we get to the Sapphire, skip paying cover, roll right in and get a table in the corner. The place was only half full and the quality was actually kinda low. But whatever, we got some bottles ordered and went on the hunt to find the bachelor the girl with the "fattest ass" per request. We found 2 and bought him lapdances, but my crew ended up leaving at like 3:00 am to head back to Cosmo. So of the 4 keys to the Bungalow that existed, we had 1, so I called up The Crew to let them know and they said they had gone to Spearmint, but were going to head back in a bit, and just to meet them at the Bungalow. So we did that, and stayed there, partying through sunrise. Went to bed around 8:00 am wishing we could sleep for days.
TUESDAY: We woke up at 11:00 am for 11:00 am checkout. Called down and pushed it to 12:00 pm (hoped for later). Went to Marquee Box Office to pick up my lost ID. Since we were right there, we went to eat some lunch at China Poblano, which was actually very good, although I only tried the China side of the menu. After lunch, we did a little gaming, unsuccessfully and tried to decide between pool for an hour or airport a bit early. Settled on airport and just relaxed and downloaded all the crazy stories with each other in the terminal. We also saw Blontourage at security and just awkwardly avoided each other, haha! We texted The Crew from the night before a big thanks and a YOU SON OF A BITCH, hahaha and then boarded the flight home. No puking this time either (see last year's TR). Got home around 9:00 pm and ended up just relaxing, watching a movie until about 2:00 am.
WEDNESDAY: Woke up feeling great, bucked up for 4th of July in Seattle as the weather was amazing and did 3 different parties with a couple beers at each. When I said it's time to go pro, I meant it's time to go fuckin PRO, YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!
*A couple more photos are in the July 2012 album I posted.

Lol..Nice. Its crazy to think how much money you can blow on liquor in Vegas. Makes no sense to pay $400 for a $19.95 bottle of Kettle One but its different rules in Vegas :P
Sounds like you guys did it big and kept it nasty! I ended up staying til after 5 that night at Marquee. Had an awesome time with Tommy Trash in the booth!
