  • LOVE or O?

We're going with a group to Vegas early next year. A Cirque show is definitely in order but I'm not sure which way to go. The water aspect of O sounds really cool (I've seen two touring Cirque shows, so I'm looking for something a bit different than the standard acrobats) and the Beatles aspect of LOVE sounds really good as well.

I guess my biggest question is can people who aren't that familiar with the Beatles still find it different enough acrobatics/story wise to make it a better appeal than O? I'm a big fan of the Beatles but some of the others aren't.

Also, what is the cheapest way to get tickets to this? Booking directly seems to be in the 150-180 / ticket range, which seems high. Any places offer discounts on these, even if booking ahead, or do you have to wait until day-of-show to get a good price?

If your friends are not Beatles fans, go see O. It was an amazing show. However, both were excellent.

Between the water shows , I actually preferred Le Reve at the Wynn to O.

I enjoyed 0 immensely, but a buddy's parents saw Love a couple of weeks ago and can't stop talking about it...O tends to still sell out quick, so I think you'll be good either way!

I've seen O and I would see it again. I heard good things about Love, but it's not my priority to see since I am not a Beatles fan.

I would buy it ahead of time so you can select your seating. We had balcony seating to try to save some money for the low $100 and a lot of my friends after the show agreed that we should of paid a little more for better seatings. It's rarely if ever on tix4tonight or any half-price discount booth.

But MGM Resort International usually run promotion during the summer for 50% cirque shows during the summer or 2 free tix with air/hotel package also during the summer.

Honestly, I saw LOVE, and I was bored to death.

First of all, LOVE is not a Circus show, it's a dance show. If you are willing to pay 150$ to see pleople dance, go for it.

Second, well, the playlist could have been much better.

O is awesome. But the best show of Cirque du Soleil is definitively KA.

                    O is pretty sweet!

Its been 5 years since I have seen "O", but it was awesome. I highly recommend it. I'm checking out KA in 2 weeks...

Ive seen LOVE 2 times and probably would see again. Even though you dont like Beatles music, it is still a great show.

Ive never seen O but that is the next one on my list.

I saw Mystere the last time I was there and did not like it. Its more acrobatics.

Definitely Le Reve over 'O'. I fell asleep during 'O' and the entertainment they had between sets was flat out ponderous.

Le Reve is better in every respect.

So I was reading this thread and one guy said that Love was more of a 'dance' show.
I really hope that's not accurate.
I saw La Nouba in Orlando a few years ago and it kicked ass.
The dude I'm going with has a hard on for the Beatles so thats why we're going with Love but if it sucks I'm making him buy tickets to O also lol
                              *Crosses fingers*
