Whisky or Tequila tasting

Group of guys will be heading to Las Vegas for a bachelor party and the bachelor would be interested in something along the lines of a whisky or tequila tasting (honestly I would prefer tequila) and I was just wondering where on the strip the may these types of tastings?

A lot of the time they have special events with those kinds of things but the chance that you happen to be going when one of them is scheduled is pretty low. Your best bet is to find a place that does tequila flights (sets of partial shots, half or maybe a third of a shot each, of different types of tequila). Pretty much any good Mexican restaurant should have that as an option. Where are you guys staying?

Thanks for the information! Our group will be staying at Harrahs but any recommendations for Mexican restaurants or even somewhere that would do a whisky tasting are welcome!

Not sure about a tasting, but MGM has a bar called Whisky Down that serves Pappy.

There's a group on Facebook with over 1,000 members called "Whisky Blasphemy". Check it out - they are an extremely knowlegable group on Whisky. I'm sure some know Vegas Whisky spots well.

This. Thought I had posted in here already about this bar but it's nowhere to be found. Been there twice and it has been great. I wouldn't be surprised if they had some tequila kicking around. I would ask.

Definitely the BEST your going to do in Vegas, and maybe anywhere other than a select few cities. Have been several times, and for the experience and quality the price is a relative bargain...
