  • Sushi or other suggestion for sister's 21st

    Hi All,
I am bringing my sister to town this weekend for her 21st birthday on Friday. Planning on doing a decently nice dinner with about 10 people that night. Right now we are thinking sushi but open to other suggestions. Trying to keep spending around $40-50 per person. Looking for something nice but still lively and "in the action" vs just quiet and formal. Can anyone suggest anything? Right now I have reservations at Tao and SambaSushi but now I am thinking about Yellowtail at Bellagio

Love Sushi Roku in the Shoppes at Caesars but more quiet and out at the far end of he Shoppes...lol.

What's pretty cool, but they don't take reservations, you have to wait once getting there, is the outside patio of Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. Patio is right on the strip looking across to Bellagio. Good people watching area.

If you are looking for sushi, I'd do yellowtail. Would be a great spot for your group.

I love Yellowtail, but if your budget is $40-50 per person with drinks including tip and tax then it's outside your budget. I like Sushi Samba, it's a little different, and for the scene you could check out Social House at CityCenter (admittedly I was there the last time about two years ago so not sure if it is still the "cool" spot for sushi).

There is a lowkey place off strip called Kaizen which was fantastic
