We're looking for a private room for around 10 guys on a Friday or Saturday in 3 weeks. I saw the boardroom at Joe's seafood, prime steak, and stone crab mentioned in another post. It looks amazing but I'm worried about hitting the $1200 minimum they mentioned with only 10 people and the $68 pp quoted.

Does anyone know of other restaurants with a similar setup? Ones with a lower minimum or where you can just order off the menu?

STK, SW Steakhouse and Craftsteak are some good place.

Our group looked into the boardroom at Joe's but it was booked - we had similar number and figured we would definetly meet the min due to drinks.

I dont see it being an issue if you figure everyone gets 2 drinks ($10 each), appies, $50 steak, etc.

I would also look into Brand, SW, Strip House

Private room's in the steakhouses are going to cost you as much as tables in the tier 1 clubs. They keep them open for the real highrollers that don't club and they have no problems paying these mins.

I'm going to sound like a broken record here but this is another of those times when you have to negotiate. Call up the place let them know your deal and what min you can accept and if they won't take it then ask if they can arrange something in the open area of the restaurant with equal attention.

        Regarding places I'd do:
        Cut for overall best meat
SW for the ambiance and logistics to clubs and other great restaurants & bars
Stripsteak in Mandalay Bay but ONLY if I were going to Light or House of blues.

I don't go to STK any more. Yes, girls go there but the place is just not on the same levels as the other top steakhouses. They¨'re not even in the top 20 in town if you ask me.
        What I am about.

I know it's more commercial but have you contacted Ruth's Chris in Harrah's. They have private dining options based on their website.

We did Brand for my bach party last July with no min as I just told them I had a party of 14 and called the day of since we had to see how many were going to be able to power on from the pool. We got out of there for right around $1200 all in with drinks and auto grat. They combined the tables alongside the wall. Not sure if they have a private room.

Awesome. Thanks for all the help, guys. Gonna call up a few of the recommended places and will go from there. We're staying at the Wynn so SW looks like the best option right now.

Del Frisco's is a great steakhouse just up the street from the Hard Rock. N9ne at Palms is very good too.
Been to Vegas too many times to count, partied in too many pools and clubs to track, but when you live so close, why wouldn't you?
