Pre-Fixed Menu / Bachelor Dinner

Hi Guys,

I posed this question before but did not really get a response.

I am planning a bachelor party for around 16 guys come May (a ways out). We would like to do one big group/nice dinner.

Anyone know of any places that have pre-fixed menus or resturants that caters to bachelor parties? I think we were looking at $100-$125 a guy. Obviously alcohol included would be a plus. Rather spend money on gambling and bottles but would enjoy a nice dinner (steak).

I was looking at the Light Group's dinner packages but wanted to see if anyone knew of anything else.

Did my bach party this past July for 18 at Brand Steakhouse. First went there 3 years ago when I stayed at MC. Made reservations Saturday the 13th for that night at 7. Waited maybe 15 min in the lounge before being seated.

Highly recommend the Ultimate Steak, a few of us did this, where a few can split it and cost is lowered plus do the 3 sides for $24 and get a bunch of those. Each one will feed 2 people. All in with drinks, not heavy drinking and mostly beer since we had the rest of the night, everyone just dropped $100 each which included auto gratuity.

Figure ultimate steak for 2 is $94 + $24 for 3 sides is $118 divided by 2 is $59/each before drinks and tip.

Thanks for the response, I was looking at Brand and it looks like it has a good vibe.

Does it have a private room do you remember? Would it be difficult to fit 16 people?

I don't believe there is a private room, but never asked. Based on the layout and lounge plus restaurant connected to each other don't know where they would be able to hide one.

We took up the side wall and had nobody around us. If you look at the photo on their webpage that was basically us taking up the wall and the chairs on the other side of the tables with all of those tables together. Service was spot on.

Do you think emailing various restaurants to see if they can come up with a menu for our group is doable? With a fixed price?

It would be easier to say to the group, "we are going to this place, we each will get 3 courses or whatever, you get to select your own items, and its for this set price per person"

Personally didn't bother since the guys were game for anything and since I and a few others did Brand previously it was pretty simple. Think it was the only real meal we had out there.

Hard Rock has a fixed menu also, scroll down halfway to see the bachelor menu. Nice scenery over there in the casino. Gambled for a bit one night and the guys bragged about the bachelor party thing which always attract the women well outside my league but hey it's Vegas.

Ruth's Chris is in Harrah's and has a private room and they do private dining so you can call them. Have 2 here in Jax so they were not an option.
