Actually ate there with a client who insisted last year. Hamburgers and fries are cooked with pure lard, no diet cokes allowed, and the shake, which is about 12 ounces, is made with a full stick of butter and seems to weigh 10 lbs. Awesome to eat going down, but your stomach will remind you of your poor choice for days......

I went with my friends once because they wanted to try it. I had already eaten so I just had a milkshake and tasted my friends' food. The burgers are nothing special except for being big. The fries fried in lard actually tasted pretty bad. The milkshake was make with whole cream and had a slice of butter on it. I took the butter out and it just tasted liked a good and very rich milkshake. For us it was more just a fun, gimmicky theme restaurant. We probably wouldn't go back, but there were a LOT of people there taking advantage of the free meal for people weighing over 350 lbs.

Not worth a trip from the Strip alone, but it's definitely an experience. They really stick to the gimmick, to the point where it goes beyond absurd and into the realm of the macabre.

Been there to check it out, but the thought of actually eating there makes me gag, literally. My BF and I weight ourselves on the scale each year during our EDC trips. Last year he was 192, hes been trying to lose weight since and was like 179or something this year. We go for the gimmick & because my BF loves Fremont street, but actually eating there has never even crossed our minds. An 800cal peanut butter shake from Shake Shack ALMOST makes me think twice about getting it. Throw a full stick of butter in there and I don't know if I could even get a sip down. Not to mention a 10,000 cal burger. Really?! That's literally like 5 DAYS worth of calories. It's aptly named, but I can't fathom eating anything from there.
