  • Is there really a significant difference??

Like the title says is there really a significant difference in the buffets from resort to resort, not the environment but the buffet itself, type of food, amount of selection, etc.
Any comments you have would be helpful.... (places to say away from, places to hit up... walking distance from the strip, we are staying at the MGM)

There is a HUGE difference in the quality of food/selection

Best I've had are Wynn, Wicked Spoon, Sterling Brunch (Bally's), Aria (in that order)
I'm giving Bellagio a try next trip, but it's supposed to be great as well.
Mirage is ok....not on the same level as the ones listed above though.

I recall having a terrible buffet a few trips ago...just can't remember where...wasn't any of the above though.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Generally the higher the price the better the buffet...and yes...the nicer resorts def have nicer buffets.
I haven't really spent much time in MGM, usually don't spend much time on that end of the strip, so I haven't tried the MGM buffet.

Depends on what meal you're going for as well. While they go all out at dinner, Wicked Spoon has one of the best breakfasts and Bellagio's has a really great lunch.....

I hear great things about Wicked Spoon also.

I used to really like the buffet at PH, has it gone down hill?
I can surely say Rio's buffet has downgraded.
