March madness

Any suggestions for a Strip restaurant or sports bar that will show the opening round games and that won't be standing room only. Good food a plus

The Pub at Monte Carlo has a great TV setup and good beer selection. Food is alright.

They are running this promotion: "Since it is the March Madness week, the only reservations we will be taking it will be at 9:00am. (the price is $60.00 per person plus tax and gratuity) this will include all you can eat buffet until 3pm and all you can drink select domestic drafts and well drinks. Any times after 9am, will be at first come, first serve basis."

I'd probably skip that though, that same amount would get you a non-buffet meal and 4-5 non-crappy beers!

My trip is only going to include the Sunday 3/24 games... Where is the best place to watch the action where you are not going to have to spend an arm and a leg to get a drink, or feel like a salmon swimming upstream to get to the bar?

Might be easier on Sunday, by the afternoon at least, with so many people leaving town.

Todd English P.U.B. only has a few TVs, but its a good environment with good food (and beer), and won't get too crowded. It's at CityCenter.

DB's in the PH shops is a decent spot. A ton of tvs and decent food...seating is somewhat limited but the place is sort of off the beaten path so it might not be packed out. I think you can reserve tables there.
