Best restaurant before going to a mega club on Saturday

We are two couples getting dressed up and visiting a mega club this Saturday night. Any recommendations on a restaurant, particularly with a nice view, before moving on to a club? I'm open to reasonable to high price ranges but maybe not too shirt and tie stuffy. I will be wearing a sports coat though. Thanks.

In my opinion, you should be focusing on just a light meal before you're heading out for a big club night. For men, we like to completely stuff ourselves and then have difficulty taking the drinks down after. For the women, they like to fit into their skimpy little outfits & sometimes that big meal may be all the difference!

I like to save my big fancy dinner nights for when I'm not going out since you have much more time to actually enjoy the meal you're spending hundreds of dollars on.

everyone is different but for me eating alot before drinking is a MUST. Maybe I have a sensitive stomach or something. I already booked STK and Botero for memorial weekend. Both are great lively places to eat based on the reviews I've read. Can't wait.

The clubs in sydney can most easily be usually be summed up as "local" or "mega club / club restaurant".
The major clubs fill up usually on the "hot nights" of Friday and Saturday, while the local places are more warm and friendly – filling up on week nights.
