Which Restaurant?

So my girlfriend and I will be in town for her birthday next month and we were looking to go out somewhere nice to eat for two nights.

I was hoping for an opinion, since I've narrowed it down to a few for each night. She really wants a view.

First night
Foundation Room
mix lounge
Aureole

Second night
Capo's
Eiffel Tower restaurant
MOzen Bistro (then visit mandarin bar afterwards)

What do you think? which of each three would you choose? If you have any other suggestions I'm open. thanks!

Alize and Nove in The Palms have great food and views.

I'd suggest Twist in th Mandarin Oriental for outstanding and creative dishes by one of the worlds most famous and eccentric chefs, Pierre Gagnaire. I also like Picasso at the Bellagio. Amazing views with floor to ceiling windows right at eye level with the fountains. It's pretty spectacular. The food is really amazing and the wine list is spectacular. they also have millions of dollars of original Picasso art, so it's like dining in a museum. Tip the manager 20-40 to help get a window table.

Alize is a little out dated for me. Mix has a great view but is pretty average compared to its peers.

I'd go with Mix the first night. It's cool spot with great views.

I've been to Eiffel Tower but not the other spots, I wouldnt go back. The place is pretty pretentious for the quality of food. There are better places in Vegas. This is more of a tourist trap.

Mix is ok, food is good, but not amazing, great views,They also have outdoor patio seating if you are lucky enough to get it ( call ahead) . plus you can walk into mix lounge for free , with no line after your meal.

Auroele , no views here , food is good. If you eat here, I would recommend dining in the Swan room, ( call ahead and ask for a window seat). You can watch the swans in the little pond outside your window, after you eat, you can go out for a photo op with the swans... guaranteed to be a hit with a chick.

If you are going for all out view there is Top o the World @ the strat......great views, I think it rotates once an hour, I recommend going just before sunset. Great views, food is good, not great. Also on restraunt.com last i knew.


One more suggestion : Olives @ Bellagio , however you MUST have a table on the patio,if you dont get on the patio, i would say pass. The patio tables overlook the bellagio fountains, and makes for great dinner entertainment. This is a Todd English place... food is definatley solid.
