  • Steakhouse Recommendation

I have 18 guys this weekend for a bachelor party. We want to go eat at a good steakhouse. I tried calling the Cut by Wolfgang Puck and we have a $200 minimum per person not including tax and service. Can anyone recommend a decent steakhouse for about $100 a person? We're staying at the Venetian so hopefully not too long of a drive.

    Thanks!

Since you're staying at the Venetian, try Emeril Lagasse’s Delmonico's...I did...I ordered the bone in Rib-Eye...it was perfect....no driving necessary its downstairs on the main floor.

My preference would be a more laid back steakhouse if I'm going out with that many guys. Something thats not as expensive as I wouldnt be able to focus on the food as much with all the joking around and all. I've been to Cut with a group of 6 and we were able to take our time, share what we were eating, etc. Just a more laid back meal.

Cheaper and would be a good meal too is Delmonicos at Venetian or for the old school feel, the Golden Steer. The Golden Steer is on Sahara Blvd and is in an old strip mall. Considered one of the oldest places and good old fashion style steak. The Steakhouse @ Circus Circus isnt too far also and is on the top 5 of most best Steakhouses in Vegas list.

Go to Lawreys...the invented the Prime Rib (pretty much). You can eat like kings there for $100/person and the steak will blow your face off.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Stripsteak in the Mandalay is pretty good. Might be a bit more than $100 per head with wine and tip though.

What Chuck said. It's fun service, the uniforms are interesting, the food is great, and it's cheaper than the high end steakhouses.

Steakhouse @ Circus Circus has some 30th anniversary special all month of June or something like that. Its also rated one of the top 10 steakhouses in Vegas.

Take a look at Joe's Stone Crab at the Forum shopped.
I am trying to plan a bachelor party dinner right now and Joe's is a good option, very old Vegas feel and the price shouldn't be much more what what you are looking for.

We ended up going to Capital Grille. The food and service was great. They even gave us a private room. We didn't have any wine and the bill came close to $100 a person.

Good call. I have always been curious about Capitol.
