  • Reasonable Dinner for Large Bachelor Group(12-15)

I'm planning a bachelor party of around 12-15 guys and am trying to find a restaurant to have one nice dinner during the weekend. I've found that STK comes highly recommended, but the $109/person price will be too high for the group.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a place that is more around the <$50/person range? Preferably close to PH where we'll be staying?

    Thanks for any help!

After some research, Mon Ami Gabi has steaks, is reasonably priced, and next door in Paris. Is it a good atmosphere for a large, rowdy bachelor party group?

Definitely recommend Maggiano's at the Fashion Show Mall across from Wynn. It has awesome strip views, is very good Italian food, and fits into your budget.

My recommendation is to order from the Family Style set-up (on the back of the menu) and get a few bottles of wine for the table. You'll end up coming in at $75 or less per person after tax and tip.

I go to Maggiano's at least one night every year when I'm in Vegas with a big group (8+) people and nobody has ever been let down by the quality/quantity of the food for the price.

Last bachelor party I went to we ate at Mon Ami Gabi, steaks are pretty good and reasonably priced... Not a big "rowdy bachelor party" resto though... Mostly small groups and couples. But, it's not completely quite either.

Great choice for a great meal on a budget. For that size group call ahead and ask if patio is possible. If so you' ll need to go 3 hours before you plan to eat to be safe. You can all kick it with some drinks in the sportsbook while you wait.

Thought they didnt take reservations for the patio?

An "all you can eat" brazillian steakhouse might be good.

There's a couple both on the major strip hotels or a short giant limo ride (would only be like $8 / person) away.

They dont. I was just suggesting to ask ahead of time if they would take s group that large on the patio. When i was there a group about that size was seated by rhe entrance to the patio, but all the patio tables were rounds that seated 6. If they will take a group that size my guess is a three hour wait if you want to eat around 8:00. If you eat sooner then probably less wait. We had a group of 6 and waited two hours for an 8:00 patio table.

My favorite in that price range is bouchon. French bistro food like mon ami gabi but better. It's a thomas keller restaurant if that means anything to you.

mon ami gabi has a great view but you pay for that in one way or another.

                    $50 a head doesn't get you much in Vegas - - maybe a buffet.

Heck, most decent brunch's are $60+

I'd second the recommendation of a Brazilian Steakhouse like Fogo de Chao.

                      steakhouse only?

Well since you didnt say it needed to be a steakhouse, maybe look into Koi inside Planet Hollywood. They do have steak dishes, but its a Japanese place. I recommend the skirt steak. If you dont go overboard, you can stay under $50 here, not including drinks. It can be a fun environment too. We did a cool birthday dinner last year. He turned 24. There was about 10 of us.
                      Here is the menu

                      Hip Hop Head

I have stayed at: Mandalay Bay, Aria, Flamingo, Excalibur, Hooters, PH Towers / Elara, Monte Carlo, Venetian, Luxor, LV Hilton, Rio, Mirage, MGM, Hard Rock Hotel, Planet Hollywood, Stratosphere, Tuscany, Tropicana, and rented a 6BR house. I think thats all.

                      Next trip:

You can barely get a cheeseburger, fries and a beer for $50 on the Strip.
When we come in town with a large group of guys, we usually hit Gordon Biersch. It is a little off the strip but a decent meal at a decent price for a bunch of dudes.

But then you also need to factor in cab fare and the time it will take to get back to wherever you plan on partying the rest of the night.

Might also just consider hitting one of the "cafe" restaurants in your hotel. Mr. Lucky or Pink Taco at Hardrock come to mind.

you can also check out stack at mirage and fix at bellagio. they're sister restaurants, both owned by light group and have good vibes and open menus, including steaks.

We had a group of 6 at Mon Ami Gabi, all ate well, salads, soups, main courses, and a bottle of wine. AFTER tip we were at $299. $50/person and we didn't skimp...we didn't go nuts, but we didn't skimp for sure.
