  • Tips for vegetarian evening meals?

Another Vegas question from me... We're going as a group to Vegas, and we want to have a decent meal in a spectacular setting, so we're thinking something very Vegas, like Mix bar or Aureole, but one of the group is a vegetarian, and I have no idea if either of those are any good for veggies. So my question is...

What are the best Vegas restaurants for vegetarians? Note that it must have non veg stuff as well, as we are not all veggies and we're looking for a big restaurant for an evening meal, not a little cafe, preferrably a place in one of the casinos. (also - they don't eat fish or seafood either)

I'm struggling to think of anywhere suitable, any suggestions? Thanks in advance if anyone knows anywhere... (and also, if anyone knows anywhere where the veg selections need to be avoided, we'd be grateful if you let us know). Thanks Vegas experts!

check the Wynn/encore website for veggie options. My wife is vegetarian and we ate at switch our last trip and it was awesome for both of us. Steve Wynn is veggie or vegan, so he makes sure there are options at all his restaurants, even the steakhouses.

One of my good friends is vegetarian, so I've been through this already! I hate all-vegetarian restaurants, so my suggestions are normal restaurants that just happen to have options for people that don't eat meat/fish.

      1) Sage (Aria)- fantastic restaurant with a spectacular and chic atmosphere. They have a few vegetarian things on the menu but the chef always can create other dishes on a whim. When our party wanted to do one of the tasting menus the chef was able to create an entire off-menu vegetarian version. Top choice.

      2) Michael Mina (Bellagio)- They usually always have a separate vegetarian tasting menu. Call first just to make sure. (Once they said they didn't have it because they didn't get a shipment of some special ingredients.) For you normal eaters, the lobster pot pie is amazing.

      3) Botero (Encore)- trendy restaurant with a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. Not as good as the other 2 (in terms of normal food) IMO, but if you need choices for all your nights of stay, this is an option.

Let us know how you like it!
